Community Sisterhood was proud to support Gonzales Middle School STEM Night as students designed and built balloon-powered cars. We love advocating for STEM education and providing high-quality, hands-on learning experiences that inspire creativity, problem-solving, and innovation.

Students explored how different materials could be used in their designs and discovered that even simple materials can make a big difference in performance.

Join Us in Nourishing Our Community: Feeding Hope, One Meal at a Time

At Community Sisterhood, a proud non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, we believe that a warm meal can warm the heart and that feeding our neighbors in need is a powerful act of community love.

Every third Saturday of the month, our dedicated volunteers come together to serve at the local homeless shelter, offering not just food but also compassion, smiles, and a sense of dignity to those who need it most. In addition, we host special luncheons and events to support our beloved elderly residents, ensuring that no member of our community is forgotten.

How You Can Help:
We are inviting compassionate individuals and generous funders to join us in expanding our reach and deepening our impact. Your support can help us continue these vital monthly initiatives and create even more opportunities to feed hope and build a stronger, kinder community.

Celebrating Our Seniors with Love and Gratitude

Community Sisterhood, in partnership with Truth Ministries of Ascension, hosted a Free Senior Citizen Luncheon honoring our beloved seniors aged 70 and older from Ascension Parish.

The event, held at the Truth Ministries of Ascension Campus in Prairieville, LA, was filled with warmth, fellowship, and heartfelt appreciation. Guests were welcomed with love and prayer before enjoying a delicious meal prepared and served by Bee Catering.

A special tribute was shared by the catering owner, Hall, who honored her late stepmother, Barbara Price, a devoted member of Community Sisterhood. Robbie shared that Barbara nurtured her love for cooking and taught her the joy of feeding others making this luncheon a beautiful way to continue her legacy.

Community Sisterhood extends heartfelt thanks to Pastor Corey Gaines, the Ministries of Ascension family (TMOA), and Busy Bee Catering for their generosity, partnership, and commitment to serving our community’s elders. We also thank everyone who came out to support and celebrate our seniors!
