Congratulations to my incredible grandson, Lloyd Benson III, (TRE). Today as I see you stand among your peers at the Ring Service Ceremony, my heart swells with pride and admiration. Four years ago, you embarked on a journey that challenged your strength, character, and resolve , an extraordinary path through one of the most prestigious and demanding military academies in the United States. West Point is renowned for shaping leaders of integrity, honor, and resilience, and you have met its challenges with determination and courage.
I am incredibly proud of you for your hard work, discipline, and unwavering commitment. You’ve proven that with faith in God , perseverance, character, and a steadfast spirit, nothing is impossible.
Congratulations on this remarkable milestone. I am honored to be your proud Pawpaw and I look forward to seeing the great leader you will become.
