UNITED PRAYER POINT: Taking the Gospel to the Streets Mark 16:15
September 8, 2026: Father God, all praise, honor, and glory belong to You. You rule from heaven above in a splendor we can’t even imagine. We are not ashamed of the Gospel. In fact, we see it for what it actually is: the "Good News of Our Lord Jesus Christ" and how He paid the price for our sins and the sins of the entire world. Mark, in chapter 16, verse 15, spoke of the Great Commission and how Jesus said, "...Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." And, Father, we intend to do just that, from the pulpits of the church, from broadcasts on social media, and even to the actual street corners of our city!
Father, we want to pray as Paul prayed in Colossians 1:10: "...that ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work..." so that we will readily be identified as being like our elder brother, Jesus, who set the example of what our lifestyle should look like. I was looking at a card that said: “Only Jesus can turn our mess into a message, our test into a testimony, and our trial into a triumph!” So, Father, we count taking the Gospel to the streets an honor and a privilege that brings glory to You. We pray that this is the end result, in Jesus' name. Amen. Mark 16:15; Colossians 1:10

Good morning, as we continue in our series, “Hope in Provision,” our United Prayer Point is inspired by Psalm 37:25, which declares, “I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.” Let us pray that God would deepen our confidence in His faithfulness and remind us that He never abandons those who trust in Him. Ask the Lord to strengthen our faith in seasons of waiting, uncertainty, or need, helping us stand firmly on His promise to care for His people and provide for future generations.

As we gather at 9 am, 12 pm, and 3 pm, let us thank God for His constant care and pray for hearts that remain faithful, grateful, and trusting in every circumstance. May our prayers this week encourage us to believe that God sees every need, sustains every household, and provides what is necessary in His perfect time. Let us seek the Holy Spirit’s guidance to live righteously, encourage those who feel forgotten, and walk in the hope that the Lord will never forsake His people.

September 7, 2026: Father God in heaven, look down on Your people. Help us to rise up above our circumstances. Help us to walk in the fullness of Your glory. Help us to strive and thrive. Help us to press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling. God, we lift up our communities. God, we place our hope and trust in You. We trust that everything will fall into divine alignment. We trust that healing will take place. We trust that deliverance will come forward. We trust that every need will be supplied. We trust You for peace. We trust You for justice. We trust You for Your grace and mercy. We trust You for our breakthrough and overflow. Heavenly Father, we surrender our communities and our leaders to You for the glory of God. Let Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Let the blessings and favor of God be our portion. Let every person in our communities find peace and joy in serving You and come boldly into the knowledge of Christ Jesus. God, we honor You, and we trust You with our lives and everything that concerns us. Help us to hold on to our faith and trust in Your Word, knowing that You are faithful to guide us, sustain us, and keep us. "And the rest will I set in order when I come" (1 Corinthians 11:34). It is in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus Christ we pray. Amen.
