Revival Sunday Recap

What a tremendous Revival Sunday at Life Tabernacle!

We were blessed with a strong turnout as we welcomed special guest minister Rev. Anthony Miller and family. From the opening moments of service, the presence of God moved among us in a powerful and unmistakable way. We are so thankful for every person who joined together in worship and responded to what God was doing.

Rev. Miller delivered a timely message on Generational Transfer. He reminded us that many things are passed from one generation to the next—sometimes addiction, trauma, broken relationships, fear, or shame. But there is one transfer more powerful than them all: the saving power of Jesus Christ.

Through repentance, water baptism in Jesus’ name, and the infilling of the Holy Ghost, the cycle of sin is broken and lives are made new. As the Scripture declares, “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

We are still rejoicing today in the truth that no generational stronghold is greater than the blood of Jesus Christ. What God did in our midst yesterday was both encouraging and life-changing, and we are grateful for His mighty presence.

This Memorial Day weekend and Pentecost Sunday, we paused to honor and remember those who gave so much for our freedom while also celebrating the outpouring of God’s Spirit. 🇺🇸🔥

From the very beginning of service, there was a powerful atmosphere of worship as God’s presence moved among His people. Pastor Brown preached a timely message, “Let Pentecost Break Out,” challenging us to hunger for a fresh move of the Holy Ghost in our lives, homes, and church.

One of the most special moments of the service was seeing our children gathered in the altar service. We are so proud of them as they learn to pray, worship, and connect with the presence of God for themselves.

We are thankful for what God is doing and excited for what is still to come.

While our nation prepares to celebrate Memorial Day weekend, the church is simultaneously celebrating Pentecost Sunday--the birthday of the church in Acts 2 and the first time the Holy Spirit was poured out.

Join us Sunday at 11 AM as we remember and honor those who fought for our freedom. We exercise one of those freedoms every time we assemble to worship God. This worship service will be something special indeed.
