We believe and do our best to teach that the memory of a person is a trust to be honored and upheld. Those who have walked before us remain part of our lives, carried forward in our words, our deeds, and the stories we continue to tell.

Our burial ground is a place of peace, reflection, and honor, offering, and sacrifice. It is where families gather to remember, where prayers and venerations are offered, where names continue to be spoken, and where the living are reminded that every life leaves a legacy.

We do not fear death; we recognize it as a natural part of the cycle of life. What matters is not how long a person lives, but how faithfully they live, how they treat others, and what they leave behind.
May all who rest here be remembered with honor, and may those who come after us find comfort in knowing that no member of our community is ever forgotten.

Honor the living. Remember the dead.

A Gothi does not build the future through temples or words alone, but through the children who stand beside him and learn how to walk with honor, courage, wisdom, and frith. The old ways survive only when they are lived, taught, and carried forward by steady hands into the next generation.

Sunday at 1400, the Northern Way Asatru Assembly will be holding a spring Thing focused on renewal, relationship with the land, and honoring the landvættir.

As the season turns, we’ll take time to reflect on the roles of Freyr, Freyja, and Sif, and the ways in which growth, fertility, and restoration show themselves in both the land and our own lives.

We will be spending time outdoors on the land of the Hof. Participants will be guided to gather a natural piece wood, stone, or similar and shape it into a personal talisman. Tools will be available for carving and preparation.

In keeping with the principle of reciprocity, each participant is asked to bring a small, natural offering to leave to the vættir in exchange for what is taken.

The gathering will include discussion, hands-on work, and a simple ritual to close. All are welcome who approach with respect.

Plan for approximately 1–2 hours and dress appropriately for the weather.
