Hello all!

Tomorrow the seminarians from the Pontifical College Josephinum will begin a 5-day silent retreat. We are asking for extra prayers during this time. Please pray that God's mission for our lives may become more clear as we continue our seminarian formation! If you have any prayer intentions that you would like us to pray for, please message the page by tomorrow 6:30pm so that we can make sure to pray for them before we put our devices away for the retreat. Thank you for your continual and much-needed support! God bless you!

In Christ, through Mary,
Colin, Connor, Nicholas, and Michael

This past Christmas break, Alex Kowalkowski spent several days in Poland with a family he met while studying in Rome. He says it was such a gift to spend Christmas with a family, but in particular, it was something that he will never forget as he was able to spend Christmas in the land of his own family heritage. While he was in Poland, he said the following quote from St. John Paul II couldn’t have been more fitting. "Every return to Poland is like a return to the family home, where the smallest objects remind us of what is closest and dearest to our hearts.”

This past fall semester, Dcn. Mitchel Roman and Alex Kowalkowski spent time with study abroad students from Aquinas College in Michigan and Ave Maria University in Florida. Each week, Dcn. Mitchel, Alex, and other seminarians from the NAC would lead the students in a Holy Hour with Exposition, Evening Prayer, and then conclude with dinner and a presentation on various theological topics.

Nicholas Hemker visited a couple of seminarian friends, Andy and Nathan, (Diocese of Phoenix) in Phoenix during the first week of Christmas break. They went to the Grand Canyon. Since it was Nicholas' first visit to the Canyon, he was quite surprised at how big it is! They also explored the Lava Tubes near Flagstaff. Also, because they went through Flagstaff, they drove on the historic Route 66 for a couple of miles! Flagstaff was snowy and seemed more like home!
