"Seeing Through the Facade" Sunday, June 14, 2026

06/14/2026

Good morning! As you get ready for church today, consider this question:

What part of your life have you kept hidden behind the curtain?

We all have a façade—the version of ourselves we present to others. But God isn't interested in appearances; He looks beyond the surface and into the heart. Today we'll explore what happens when we stop hiding, lay down our defenses, and give God access to the real us.

Join us this morning for "Seeing Through the Façade" and discover how God can bring freedom, healing, and transformation when we allow Him to work in the places only He can truly see.

This Sunday, join us for a challenging message: “Seeing Through the Façade.” We all have layers, walls, and carefully co...

This Sunday, join us for a challenging message: “Seeing Through the Façade.” We all have layers, walls, and carefully constructed versions of ourselves that we present to others—and sometimes even to God. But Scripture reminds us that while man looks on the outward appearance, the Lord looks on the heart. The question is not whether God can see through the façade; it is whether we are willing to give Him complete access to every part of our lives.

In this message, we will discover that God desires truth in the inward parts and that genuine spiritual growth begins when we allow Him access to the real us. If you're tired of living defeated, carrying hidden struggles, or keeping parts of your life off-limits to God, this message is for you. Come ready to pray, surrender, and invite God to do a transforming work in your life.

Tonight's Bible Study!
Ruth 1:1-2 – Famine in Bethlehem & Departure to Moab

What do you do when life gets hard? Trust God's Word or follow what seems best?

A famine in Bethlehem led one family to leave God's promised land for Moab. What appeared to be the answer brought heartache, loss, and unintended consequences. Yet even in failure, God's providence and redemption were at work.

Join us as we study the book of Ruth this summer and discover powerful lessons about faith, family leadership, obedience, and God's amazing grace.

Looking for a weekly Bible study? Join us Wednesday evenings for our summer study of the Book of Ruth.

This book reminds us of the beautiful truths of God's providence and redemption. Set during the difficult days of the Judges, Ruth tells the story of a Moabite widow who faithfully follows her mother-in-law Naomi back to Israel. Though Naomi returned home broken and empty, God was already working behind the scenes, orchestrating every detail for their good. What seemed like coincidence—Ruth gleaning in a certain field and meeting Boaz—was actually the providential hand of God guiding their steps. This powerful story teaches us that God is always at work, even when He seems silent, and that faithfulness in small decisions can have an eternal impact.

The story of Ruth also points us to the greater redemption found in Jesus Christ. Boaz served as a kinsman-redeemer, purchasing back what had been lost and restoring a family line. In the same way, Jesus became our Redeemer, purchasing our salvation with His own precious blood and bringing us back into fellowship with God. Ruth is a story of hope, grace, restoration, and God's unfailing love for undeserving people. We would love for you to join us on Wednesday evenings as we continue exploring this incredible book and discover how God's hidden hand is still working in our lives today!

Today we explore “The Ministry of Shemaiah: Fulfilling Our Divine Assignments” from 1 Kings 12.

Shemaiah’s ministry was simple—one message, one act of obedience, one pivotal moment. Yet God used it to prevent a civil war. His story reminds us that God often accomplishes extraordinary things through ordinary people who are willing to obey.

Come discover how God prepares His people for divine appointments and how faithfulness in seemingly small assignments can have eternal impact.
