Hello Everyone,
We have a few very exciting things going on over the next couple of weeks. So let's get into it:
ANN ARBOR Trip - Saturday May 16 - You may have heard about this trip, but here are the details and the registration for it. We will be partnering with a church in the Ann Arbor area for a full day of Prayer, Evangelism, Worship, Fun, and fellowship. We will depart from our Ga***rd Campus around 9am and arrive at Noon at Radiant Church in Ann Arbor. The day will include a prayer walk over the city of Ann Arbor that will start at the University of Michigan Baseball stadium. We will watch U of M play Ohio State, and spend time praying over the campus of U of M. From there we will spend time in different parts of the city praying. We will share the gospel openly as the Lord leads, and end back at the church for a Prayer & Worship gathering. Lunch and Dinner, a T-Shirt as well as game tickets will be covered through registration. We will arrive back in Ga***rd between 11pm-Midnight. We only have 50 seats available for this, and this trip is really going to be a catalyst for where God has been leading us to as a group - PRAYER, WORSHIP, EVANGELISM, FELLOWSHIP & FUN. It's who we are. I'd love to share how and why Ann Arbor first, so please ask if your interested. It's a God story. I see us doing alot more of this type of thing all over northern Michigan over the summer. There will be a night of preparation (Lace up your boots Night) that will be really an essential part of the ANN ARBOR Trip the Night of May 15 from 7-8pm in the Chapel at Efree Ga***rd
(Student Led) PRAYER & WORSHIP ROOM May 9th - 7pm-9pm - in the Efree Ga***rd Chapel. As I mentioned above, this is who we are, and I'm starting to refer to these teenagers as the REVIVAL GENERATION. Seriously? How many other teens do you know that want to go into cities and pray over them, and lead prayer meetings, and spend hours together worshiping, and study their bibles together. It's not normal. This is the REVIVAL GENERATION, and our group is a special part of it. This prayer room is for anyone, so please come and see.
This WEEK Group - We continue an awesome series we are calling SHIFTS. This week STEVEN & ANA KOLB will be sharing the message on the 2nd SHIFT you need to make to become a GODLY MAN and a GODLY WOMAN. Last week was an incredible start, and I'm sure everyone will be excited to hear them share.
This WEEK before Youth Group - We will be starting the first week of our Gathering Worship School. We have many students who are interested in being part of our worship team, and that is awesome. What we are doing with this 6 week worship school is 1/2 helping these future worship leaders understand what worship is, and how to be a leader in this. There are 4 pillars we will teach about. The pillar of the Heart, The pillar of the The Head (understanding), The pillar of the Hands (skill) of a worshiper, and the Holy Spirit. We will spend the other 1/2 teaching skill, and learning how to play and worship as a team.
