👖💙457 pairs of jeans!

What happens when a Mission volunteer family decides to make a difference? Something pretty amazing!

One of our wonderful volunteer families took on a special project and collected an incredible 457 pairs of jeans for our neighbors. We are so grateful for their initiative, generosity, and heart for our community, and for everyone who donated and helped make this possible.

Thank you for loving our neighbors so well and for turning generosity into action!

We are so grateful for our friends at Arlington FUMC!💙

Thank you for taking the time to tour First Street Methodist Mission, learn more about our work, and roll up your sleeves to help build sack lunches for our neighbors.

We loved connecting with you and sharing in service together. Thank you for being part of the Mission!

🏠 A new home deserves a warm welcome.

For October, we’re collecting new and gently used sheet sets and towel sets for our Start-Up Kits. These simple household basics help neighbors take those first steps toward making a new space their own.

Thank you for helping us welcome our neighbors home. 💙

We’re so pleased to have Clean Start Outreach onsite again, providing shower and laundry services for our guests experiencing homelessness. We are grateful for their partnership and the compassionate care they bring to our neighbors.

🔎 October Scavenger Hunt Challenge!
This month, we’re hunting for sheet sets and towel sets! 🛏️🛁

We gave out 26 Start-Up Kits in September, which means it’s time to fill those shelves again!

Next time you’re shopping, add a set to your cart and help us welcome a neighbor home with a few of the essentials that make a house feel more comfortable. 💛

Hope showed up in so many ways at First Street Methodist Mission this September. In a sack lunch, groceries for the week, a helping hand, a listening ear, and neighbors caring for neighbors.

We’re grateful for every volunteer, donor, partner, and friend who helps make these moments possible. Together, we’re reminding our neighbors that they are seen, valued, and not alone. 💛
