An Opening Prayer for Pride

God of wild love and extravagant acceptance…
Spirit of boldness and beauty…

You are faithfully present in both the grit and glitter of life,
and you are present here with us now.
Awaken us to your dream for creation:
A world in which every member of the human family is free
to flourish however you have made them.

Forgive us for the moments we have held back
your ever-flowing current of love, dignity, and justice.
Remake us into a people eager to see you
in the faces, bodies, and expressions of all people.
Remind each of us to step out of the shadows of our lives
and shine fearlessly and courageously.

Ignite the Divine Light within us to sparkle through the prism
of our bodies and brighten every corner of this Earth.

Holy One, You call each of us beloved.
Each of us cherished.
Each of us desired.
Each of us sacred.
And so, we give you thanks now and forever.
Amen.

Somewhere along the way, we started equating "faith" with "certainty." But a faith without room for struggle isn't the faith Jesus modeled. He didn't dismiss the doubt of His disciples, and He doesn't dismiss yours.

Your questions aren't a sign of weakness—they're an invitation to go deeper.

For anyone who has ever felt fearful, ashamed, or weary from "church hurt,” Celebration is for you.

Finding a community that chooses the warmth of God’s love over shame and scolding is a true blessing. To everyone who walks through these doors just as they are: thank you for trusting us. The Spirit is moving here, and there is always room for your healing and your doubt.

We had a fantastic day at the 26th annual Kathy Whitworth Celebrate Golf tournament! The weather was perfect, the fellowship was fun, and the golf was celebrated! Thank you all to everyone who participated, volunteered, sponsored, and organized this event. We couldn't have done it without you!

Faith isn't a tool for a theocracy; it's a call to the ends of the earth.

We aren't called to stay stationary or look away from the world's problems. God is calling us to move forward, to protect the vulnerable, and to be true witnesses in a world that often tries to "use" Jesus for its own gain.
