Pastor Jordan’s Newsletter:
Dear Church Family,
North Texas Giving Day is coming up on Thursday, September 17, 2026. Last year, thanks to your generosity, Celebration raised $6,000 through North Texas Giving Day. This year, we have set an ambitious goal of raising $9,000. Your donations will go directly to support the ministries and mission of Celebration.
For 33 years, Celebration has been sharing the good news of Jesus, and we believe even more folks need to hear this good news.
In a world where Christianity has been used to exclude and divide, we believe in the good news of God’s love. We believe that God’s love is for everyone, and Celebration is place where we can live and serve out of the abundance of God’s love for us.
There are so many LGBTQ+ siblings and others in our community who desperately need a place like Celebration-who need to hear and experience the good news of God’s love. There are folks who have been wounded by religion who need to know that there is a place of extravagant hospitality like Celebration. We are a sacred space of hope and belonging, a place of peace and comfort. A church where we authentically and vibrantly live out our faith.
Celebration is a loving, inclusive community where we tell the story of God’s love.
We believe the Holy Spirit is moving through us as we make God’s grace and love known, and work toward peace and justice for all. Every week, folks from different generations, different faith backgrounds, and different walks of life gather around the same Table. We worship together. We care for one another. We serve our neighbors. We stand with the vulnerable and marginalized. We walk in the way of Jesus as his example teaches us what it means to build bridges rather than walls.
I’ve seen all of this and more in the witness of Celebration. Church, our witness is beautiful, impactful, and needed-especially in today’s world.
In a time when so many folks associate Christianity with judgement and exclusion, Celebration practices another way of following Jesus. In a time when loneliness is on the rise and division is everywhere around us, we are building a beautiful, diverse, loving community. In a time when far too many folks have given up on the possibility that a church could ever feel like a place where they belong, our doors, our Table, and our hearts are open wide.
The Spirit is moving through Celebration. The Spirit is moving through you.
This North Texas Giving Day, will you join us in deepening our commitment to Celebration’s ministry and future? Every gift brings us closer to our $9,000 goal and helps ensure that even more people can hear and experience the good news of God’s love at Celebration.
