STATEMENT OF FAITH
1) Worship is bowing in heart and spirit to the one true God. (John 4:23,24; Acts 24:14)
2) The one true God is three in one; a trinity of Father, Son, and Spirit. No other being is worthy of worship, adoration, or service, nor to be
respected as infallible, without sin, nor capable of exonerating in justification from eternal decree and position. (I John 5:7, Hebrews 1:1,2,8; Acts 5:3,4)
3) The Lord Jesus Christ is God, was born of a virgin, was miraculously conceived of the Holy Spirit, and rose from the dead with a physical, visible, bodily and glorified resurrection. (Isaiah 7:14; Romans 1:4; Luke 1:26-35)
4) The complete, substitutionary, sacrificial death of Jesus Christ is fully sufficient to pay the sin debt of all mankind. The sacrificial death is fully efficient for all who believe on Jesus Christ. This belief, believing is in faith alone in Christ alone. (John 3:16,18,36; John 6:47; Ephesians 2:8,9; Titus 3:5)
5) The Bible is Holy Scripture, and as such is the inspired, inerrant, pure, preserved very words of God. (II Timothy 3:16,17; Psalm 12:6,7; Proverbs 30:5,6; Matthew 24:35)
6) The two ordinances of the local church are Baptism by immersion and celebration of the Lord’s Supper. (Matthew 28:19,20; Acts 2:41,42; Acts 8:36-38; I Corinthians 11:23-26)
7) The local church is the body and the bride of Christ, and is solely made up of born again believers. (I Corinthians 12:12-14; II Corinthians 11:2; Ephesians 1:22,23; Ephesians 5:25-27)
8) Missions: God has given the church a great commission to proclaim salvation to all nations. (Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:19,20; Mark 16:15)
9) The Genesis account of creation is neither allegory, nor myth, but a literal and historical account of God’s creation of the universe in six literal twenty four hour periods. (Genesis 1:2; Exodus 20:11; Genesis 1:5)
10) The autonomous local new testament church, and its establishment, and continuance is clearly taught and clearly defined in scripture. (I Timothy 3:1-13; Acts 14:27; Acts 20:17; Acts 28:32; Titus 1:5-11; I Peter 5:1-4)
11) God has commanded that no sexual activity be engaged in outside of the only scriptural marriage, which is the joining of one man and one woman. (Genesis 2:24; Romans 1:26-29; I Corinthians 6:9; Hebrews 13:4)
12) God declares the bodily resurrection of all men, the saved to eternal life, and the unsaved to judgment and everlasting punishment. (Matthew 25:46; Revelation 20:5,6,11-15)
