Wellspring Church of the Nazarene is a fellowship of followers of Jesus Christ. We are one congregation that is simply a part of the larger Kingdom of God in Evansville. We firmly believe that God has called us to reach the community around us in partnership with other believers from the various denominations and fellowships in the surrounding area. We are a part of the Nazarene denomination in sp

ecific, but more importantly, a part of the Body of Jesus Christ that is comprised of believers and congregations from many denominations and fellowships all over the world. If you are not a part of a local fellowship, we invite you to join us and see what God has in store. Service Times:

I was reading J. I. Packer's book Knowing God when I came across this gem in the chapter of God's Wisdom. In discussing the prerequisites for finding wisdom, one of them being we must learn to reverence God the author says this.
"It is to be feared that many Christians spend all their lives in too unhumble and conceited a frame of mind ever to gain wisdom from God."
Let that sit for a moment. If we're at a place that we think we have all the answers, we're never going to seek God's face for wisdom.
Lord, keep me humble.
