News Alert!! Coming July 15th!

250 semitruck loads of food donations will be delivered to 250 food banks across all 50 states in 2026. The Evansville area is blessed to be getting one of those trucks July 15th, to be donated to the Tri-State Food Bank.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is collaborating with the America250 celebration to provide food donations and support to the America250/America Gives Initiative.

The commemoration recognizes the freedoms established by the signing of the Declaration of Independence 250 years ago.

Hi, my name is Sarah Porter! I’m from the Newburgh 2nd Ward and am so excited to serve in the Chile Santiago West Mission (Spanish speaking)!! I decided to serve, in part, due to a quote from President Nelson: “Our missionaries teach and baptize to bring joy to the people of the world!” I have seen a difference in my own life when I’m focused on the Savior and when I’m not. I want others to be able to experience the same joy I have in coming to know Jesus Christ! I am so excited to meet new people, expand my understanding of the world, and continue learning important lessons regarding Christ’s gospel & mission.
