🎉 We have some incredible news to share!

The Indiana Conference of The United Methodist Church has been awarded a $19,657,500 grant from Lilly Endowment Inc. to invest in our residential youth camps across the state!

The grant will be distributed among four of our camps:

Camp Adventure: $2,410,500
Epworth Forest: $10,000,000
Camp Indicoso: $2,427,000
Camp Lakewood: $4,820,000

"This extraordinary investment in the lives of young people across Indiana will have a transformational impact for generations to come," said Bishop Tracy S. Malone.

This gift, combined with a previous $6.5 million Lilly Endowment grant awarded in December 2025, represents a truly generational investment in the future of camp ministry in Indiana.

"We are so excited to receive this generational gift and are looking forward to the impact this will have on students in Indiana," said Nick Yarde, Director of Outdoor Ministries.

We are so grateful for Lilly Endowment's partnership and commitment to the young people of Indiana. The best is yet to come! 🙏

We come with heavy hearts, grieving what has been lost and unsure of what comes next. Be near to this church community, all who have experienced your love in and through its witness.

Grant wisdom to leaders for the days ahead, and remind us that your church is not just a building, but more importantly, your people.

Wesley Super Seniors Annual Day was truly a blessing! We gathered to celebrate our amazing Super Seniors under the powerful theme: “Still Doing God’s Work!”

We were inspired by a dynamic message from Pastor Ron Ellis, Sr., uplifted by the joyful sounds of our Super Senior Choir, and encouraged through a special presentation honoring 21 years of faithful ministry. The day was filled with laughter and inspiration, highlighted by a fun and meaningful skit.

Our Super Seniors ministry continues to flourish with 50 active members, including 10 who fellowship with us from other churches. We meet every second Monday of the month for food, fun, fellowship, and faith-building moments.

We are also committed to serving our community—supporting Jeffersonville’s first Fresh Stop Market, providing care packages, blessing families with turkey baskets, and recently hosting a diaper drive. Plus, we bring two canned goods to every meeting to support Dare to Care.

There’s a place for you here! Come join us as we continue “Still Doing God’s Work”—serving, giving, and growing together.

When? Saturday May 30 at 1:00-2:00 PM
Where? Perrin Park, 414 Perrin Lane, Jeffersonville
Who? All ages are invited, and you are encouraged to bring others- family, friends, youth, adults, co-workers, and neighbors with you!
Why? We will ponder the natural order given to our universe as we contemplate Creation. Lots of wildlife and interesting plants to be seen as you stroll in this lovely suburban park.
How? Be sure to dress for the outdoors and weather as this is a rain or shine event. We will meet in the parking lot. This is a FREE event, and this park has restrooms and is very accessible with paved paths.
What? Bring a chair if you want to sit for contemplation. Bug spray and sunscreen are a good idea too.

Be there for this early summer gathering focused on reclaiming wonder and awe!
