2026 Corporate Masses: A hallowed tradition in the Knights of Columbus has been the Corporate Communion where Brothers and their Families attend Mass together and receive Communion as a body. A long-standing tradition here in Dixon, it has withered over the past few years. Let’s renew this custom and experience the spiritual benefits of our faith being practiced as a united brotherhood!
Brother Knights participating are asked to proudly wear KC apparel and sit in the same general area on the center aisle near the middle of the church. Mark your calendars NOW for this year’s Corporate Communion Masses:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Shout Out to all Knights: Council 690 events and activities are for you and your families!
If you are able to attend – please know that we’ll be happy to see you!
If you have time to help – for even just an hour or two – we’d love to have your assistance!
It’s up to you and me – for us to be the best that we can be!
To volunteer for any activity or event – contact Brother Knights Dave Contreras (815 440-6893),
Luke Dixon (815 973-2245), Lary Prindaville (815 973-3347) – or any Council 690 Knight!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please pray for Pope Leo XIV, Bishop David Malloy, Father Kramer and all our Priests, Deacons, Lay Ministers, and all others in need of our prayers.
Vivat Jesus!

has withered over the past few years. Brother John Bailey is calling for a renewal of this custom of Brother Knights joining together attend Mass and receive Communion in a body. We need to experience the spiritual benefits of our faith being practiced as a united brotherhood. We are called to attend quarterly Masses together on Sundays alternating between our two parishes.
Brothers participating are asked to proudly wear their KC gear and sit in the same general area on the center aisle near the middle of the church. Mark your calendar NOW for this year’s Corporate Communion Masses!!!
May 31st at St. Pat’s 10:30 Mass
August 30th at St. Anne’s 10:30 Mass
November 29th at St. Pat’s 10:30 Mass
Knights Work at Dixon Habitat May 9th:
As we have for many years, Knights will assemble at 7:45am at the Dixon Habitat for Humanity work site on May 9th to give our efforts towards the construction of another great home for a family in need. The work site is at 1819 W. 9th St., which is just west of Sheridan Ave. Women are invited to join as well, so family members of any appropriate age are invited. We will probably be working on the sill-plate, the main beam or floor joists. Bring your tool belt and shoes suitable for a construction site.
We also need some assistance in providing a simple sandwich-type lunch at noon. All interested in working or providing lunch should contact Luke Dixon at 815-973-2245 or by email at [email protected]
Prayer Intentions:
Pope Leo XIV: Let us pray that everyone, from large producers to small consumers, be committed to avoid wasting food and to ensure that everyone has access to quality food.
Father Evans: Let us pray for all those individuals and groups, here in Dixon, who dedicate themselves to obliterating hunger from our beloved city." (I'm thinking of Loaves and Fishes, St. Vincent de Paul, the Salvation Army, the Food Pantry, and of course, the Knights themselves!)
Please also pray for: All deceased Brother Knights and their family members, especially David J. Dempsey
