Volunteers needed!
Our group is back up and running for the 2022-23 school year and we are in need of groups of volunteers to help pack food bags. Teams of 7-8 adults or young adults (middle school and older) are needed for Wednesday night packing events. The process is relatively simple. Volunteers pull food from the shelves for each school and then organize it on tables before packing the items into bags. We are currently packing over 100 bags each week, so it is about a 90-minute time commitment right now, however, this may change throughout the year based on enrollment (it is highly unlikely to run beyond 2 hours). Packing events occur on Wednesday evenings at 5:15 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Dixon.
Can your team lend us a hand?
If your group is interested in participating, please review the dates below and reach out to us with 2-3 possible dates for each time your group would like to participate (for example: if your group would like to participate 2x this school year, please provide options of 2-3 dates for the 1st time and 2-3 dates for the 2nd time). Feel free to note which dates are preferred and we will do our best to schedule you on that date.
