We are in a series called The Unfolding Life where we are studying the book of Acts and what the early church can tell us about how to be a church today. Good morning! 🪺
Tomorrow is May 31st and we're gathering for worship at 10AM followed by an After Party in the side yard! The Evening Edition group is hosting the After Party this Sunday. Stay after the worship service to hang out, catch up, and enjoy the sun together. Programming for children and youth (ages birth through 12th grade) is available during the worship service. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow!

Here's what we have planned for tomorrow:
-- All children's programming (ages birth through 5th grade) will be available at 10 AM.
-- Youth Group (grades 6-12): Join us in the front rows of the sanctuary during worship at 10 AM. Middle School will head to the youth room after announcements, while High School will gather at the parsonage.
-- AFTER PARTY (11:15AM in the side yard) hosted by Evening Edition🪺

Each Sunday after worship, we invite you to head out to the side yard and stay awhile. Our summer After Parties are a simple, joyful way to slow down, catch up, meet someone new, and enjoy being together as a church community.

Volunteer with Christ’s Body Ministries!
We have an ongoing serving opportunity for individuals and families with our serving partner, . They are located at 850 Lincoln Street, just a few minutes north of the church, and they have volunteer opportunities available each week.

You can serve once, once a month, or as often as weekly — whatever works for your schedule! Volunteers are needed to help with two practical and meaningful needs:
🌯 Wrapping burritos for their daily breakfast program
👕 Sorting donated clothes for their community closet

This is a wonderful way to serve our neighbors in a hands-on way and support the faithful work Christ’s Body is doing in our city. To volunteer, reach out to Tiffany Beckford at [email protected]. Thank you for spreading love!

Tomorrow is May 24th and we're gathering for worship at 10AM followed by our FIRST AFTER PARTY of the summer! Our Youth Ministry team is hosting in honor of all of our 2026 graduates! 🎓 Stay after the worship service to celebrate our grads, hang out, and enjoy a fun afternoon together. Programming for children and youth (ages birth through 12th grade) is available during the worship service. We look forward to seeing you tomorrow -- happy Memorial Day Weekend!

☀️ Summer After Parties begin THIS Sunday, May 24! ☀️
One of our favorite summer traditions is back! Beginning Memorial Day Weekend and continuing through Labor Day Weekend, we invite you to head out to the side yard after the worship service, slow down, connect, and enjoy time together in the beautiful summer weather.

🎓Our first After Party of the summer will be hosted by the Youth Ministry Team in honor of all of our 2026 graduates! 🎓 Come celebrate our grads, enjoy a cupcake, and hang out!

🌻 Farmer’s market season is here! 🌻
We love this time of year in the neighborhood — sunshine, fresh produce, and the energy that the Sunday Farmer’s Market brings! It’s such a gift to be part of a vibrant community like this.

We also know that with all the fun comes a bit of a challenge… parking can get tight on Sunday mornings. Just a reminder that we’ve got you covered! 🚗 We rent an overflow parking lot every Sunday (year-round) for our congregation at the corner of Pearl Street & Mexico — the Grant Beacon Middle School lot. It’s enclosed by a fence and reserved for our use. We can’t wait to see you on Sunday! 🪺
