Welcome to the Kirk of Bonnie Brae! We believe that all people are children of God and are created in the image of God. We believe that welcoming all people was and is at the heart of the ministry of Jesus. We find joy in being a diverse community of faith, and welcome everyone to join our spiritual journey. For decades the Kirk has understood care for Creation to be an essential aspect of our faith.
Remembering farmer and poet Wendell Berry who taught us to "practice resurrection"

Kentucky has lost one of its most enduring voices for the land.

Wendell Berry spent his life writing, farming and speaking about our relationship with the places we call home. A native Kentuckian, his words continue to remind us that enjoying the natural world also comes with a responsibility to care for it.

Today, we remember a Kentucky writer, farmer and conservationist whose work inspired generations to look a little closer at the land around us.

Rest in peace, Wendell Berry.
