Ever felt like doors are closing all around you? Lost a job opportunity, a relationship, or a dream that seemed just within reach?
The church in Philadelphia knew that feeling. They were shut out of the synagogue, marginalized, and had "little strength." Yet Jesus had no rebuke for them—only encouragement. Why? Because when human doors close, Christ holds the key that truly matters.
"I know your works. Behold, I have set before you an open door which no one is able to shut." (Revelation 3:8) Jesus reminds us that our access to God doesn't depend on human approval, our own strength, or earthly circumstances. He is the Holy One, the True One, who opens what no one can shut and shuts what no one can open.
Your weakness is the perfect place for His strength to shine. When you feel excluded or insufficient, remember: Christ has already opened the door to the Father through His death and resurrection. No one can close what He has opened for you.
