📖 Pastor Kinnon’s personal book review is in!

I started reading Becoming God’s Family during our mission trip to Paraguay this past May, and I was really glad I did!

In a world where we are increasingly connected virtually, where we can access the best sermons, worship music, and Bible studies online, Dr. Imes reminds us why in-person church community really matters! We were created to be in communion, not only with God Himself, but with God’s people! The Church is one of the primary tools God uses for our sanctification and the means through which He advances His Kingdom.

What surprised me most about this book is the way Dr. Imes walks through scripture and gives insight into what it means to be God’s people through every single book of the Bible! God has been building a people from the beginning.

If you need to be challenged to abandon the individualistic approach to Christianity, and see how the Church fits in God’s ultimate plan of redemption, this book is for you!
