"Ashland United Methodist Church develops disciples of Jesus Christ who care for one another and serve our communities." Andrews area of northwest Columbia, SC.

Ashland began from the Dutch Fork Mission of 35 committed "missioners" from Salem, Union, and Virginia Wingard United Methodist Churches. Since its first meeting in the Seven Oaks School on March 6, 1977, the mission continues to evolve from the firstpeople who worshiped together on that morning. Today our community provide outreach programs to adults, senior citizens, youth, and families in the extended St.

Being part of a church family means celebrating one another both inside and outside the church! Showing up for our children and youth as they pursue their interests and share their talents is one meaningful way we can encourage them and let them know they have a whole community cheering them on.

Whether they're participating in school events, sports, music, or other extracurricular activities, our presence reminds them that they are loved, valued, and supported by their church family.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to encourage our young people, celebrate their gifts and talents, and live out what it means to be a community of faith beyond the walls of the church. ⛪💛

It takes a village, and we’re thankful to be part of theirs!

🎃🧡 What a wonderful time at Trunk or Treat!

Thank you to everyone who came out, decorated trunks, volunteered, and helped make yesterday such a fun event for our community! We’re so grateful for the love and support that make events like this possible.

🎬🍿 What a wonderful night at our Neighborhood Movie Night! ❤️

We loved seeing so many familiar faces and welcoming new ones as our church family and community came together for a fun evening of fellowship, laughter, and a great movie! 🥰

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make the night so special. It was such a joy to see our community gathered together, making memories and enjoying time with one another!

Sheriff Leon Lott brought his K-9 Unit to a Shepherd's Center of St. Andrews Luncheon recently. Sheriff Lott answered questions and members were able to pet the dogs. More information on the Shepherd's Center may be found at

Ashland's United Women in Faith (UWiF) celebrated their fall mission project for Epworth Children's Home. Sheryl Singletary and Rev. Cathy Joens spoke from Epworth Children's Home. Linda Richardson, Columbia District UWiF Cluster Leader also spoke. Donations were collected churchwide to go to Epworth's Center for Independent Living, which assists young adults (ages 18 to 21) to prepare for a successful future.
