Join St. Paul’s, Ivy clergy and staff at the Crozet Independence Day Celebration as our nation marks its 250th birthday! We’ll be serving as volunteers at the West Entrance Gate, welcoming guests to the event (and handing out SPIvy fans to help everyone stay cool in the summer heat). Shifts are just two hours each (from 2:00–9:00 p.m.), and you're welcome to sign up for more than one. It’s a fun and easy way to represent SPIvy, connect with neighbors, and be a welcoming presence in our community. Click here to grab a shift!

A tax collector who leaves behind a shameful profession, a grieving father whose daughter has died, and a woman who has suffered from hemorrhaging for twelve long years— three very different people, each facing a desperate situation. In Fr. Rick’s sermon on Sunday on the morning’s Gospel reading (Matthew 9:9–13, 18–26), he reflects on the thread that connects their stories: a deep trust in Jesus. Despite their different circumstances, each responds in faith, placing their hope in Christ and discovering his healing, mercy, and grace. A friendly reminder that our campus, including the church office, will be closed June 8–14 while paving work is completed on our parking lot and drives. As a result, we will not gather for worship at St. Paul’s, Ivy on Sunday, June 14. We encourage you to visit a neighboring congregation and keep St. Paul’s in your prayers as this important work is completed. The church campus and office will reopen on Monday, June 15. Thank you for your patience and support as we care for our church home, we look forward to welcoming everyone then!
