Update. Thank you all for your support. He has now been discharged from the hospital. There is a major problem with his femur, which was shattered by iron rods and stabbed with a knife. But the most serious issue was a blocked nerve, which was immediately life-threatening.
The entire family is now in a secret location, and we need additional financial support to help him relocate. The hospital costs became higher after three surgeries.

He was directly responsible for our work to plant 48 churches and provid clean water to many people. He was directly sent out by TLM.

It is incredibly painful to see him suffering. He is a part of all of us. His daughter is sitting at the foot of his bed.

Please pray that his femur will heal. We will take full responsibility for his care.

From hopelessness to hope. Help us start a Christian hair salon in the midst of 260 mosques!

Of all the people we have helped, Doretti touches my heart the most. She lived on the streets when she was just 8–9 years old, eating food meant for the dogs. She was saved and set free at our crusade in 2011. We had to start an orphanage to take care of her.

Now she is 24, a hairdresser, and under the supervision of one of our churches and an experienced financial manager, our goal is to help her start her own hair salon. We have paid six months’ rent for a premises, and now we need approximately 3000 USD for the interior and furnishings.

The contract is in the name of Tommy Lilja Ministries Ethiopia until we see that everything is working, perhaps for a year or two. Then we will transfer everything into Doretti’s own name.

Baby dedications, salvations, baptisms, baptisms in the Holy Spirit, weddings, and funerals.
Being entrusted with walking alongside people through some of life’s most important moments is one of the most beautiful things about being a pastor!

Like William and Johanna’s wedding—a journey that began several years ago and has now culminated in great happiness and tears of joy at the altar before Jesus.

To experience the joy of parents at a baby dedication.
To lead someone to Christ and witness the Holy Spirit at work as they receive Jesus for the first time and are saved.
To be there when someone makes the decision to be baptized, and to baptize that believer into Christ.
To pray with someone as they receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit and hear the miraculous breaking forth of speaking in tongues, many times through tears.
Or, as now, a wedding, where two people promise to be faithful to one another until death do they part—could it get any better?
But also a quiet funeral, where, even in the pain, seriousness, and grief, we know that the one who has died in Christ has gone on and now rests in the heavenly realm, awaiting the day when, one day in the future, we will all meet again.
This must be one of the most beautiful things there is in our world—to be able to walk alongside people on their journey through life.

Update regarding our severely beaten leader. We have managed to get him to a hospital in another location. It was incredibly difficult. Many people are afraid. In addition to the stab wound in his back that would not stop bleeding, there is a serious nerve injury between his head and body. He is undergoing surgery today. Please pray that he will not be paralyzed.

He was always happy and full of warmth. He only wanted to share the love of Jesus in a destructive world.

One of our wonderful leaders was severely beaten this morning because of the revival we are experiencing in the country. He is on the right in the photo. We were happy then. Now we are crying.
He has been with us from the beginning. He has suffered tremendously, but with enormous success for the Kingdom of God. A great example to us all. I cannot say where, as he was rescued at the last moment and is now under a death threat. His leg is broken, and he has suffered a skull injury.

He cannot return home. We now have to smuggle him out of the country to our second TLM center in a completely different part of Asia. Can you help us? It is urgent. We need to give the go-ahead on Monday.
