What a gift it was to gather for our annual Vision Dinner! We worshiped together and gave thanks for all God has provided including a community growing in depth and in number.

Just a friendly reminder: this Sunday we're gathering for First Sunday Prayer at 9am in place of Adult Sunday School!

Kids and Youth Sunday School will still meet as usual at 9am, and Nursery (ages 0-4) will be available both at 9am and 10:30am.

Can't wait to join in prayer this weekend!

Meet Colson! He's been serving as one of our Pastoral Interns, focusing on missions and mercy ministry. He met his wife Emma on the second day of freshman year at Grove City College, and he's currently finishing up his MDiv at Reformed Theological Seminary here in Charlotte.

In January, Colson and Emma will be joining RUF to help plant RUF International at the University of Illinois. With close to 13,000 international students there, it's an incredible opportunity for the gospel to reach the nations right here in the U.S.

They're also expecting their first daughter this November, so it's a big season of change for their family. We're so grateful for Colson's faithfulness and excited to see what God does through him and Emma. Would you join us in praying for them as they step into this new chapter?

Welcome, Matt! 🎉 We're so excited to have you on the team.

Matt is from Wilmington, NC, where he went to college and met his wonderful wife, Brooke. After college, Matt and Brooke moved to Charlottesville, VA, where Matt served with Reformed University Fellowship. In the summer of 2025, Matt began pursuing a seminary degree at Reformed Theological Seminary. He now serves as Uptown's newest pastoral intern. Matt is also a big fan of sports, reading, and doing anything outside.
