Summer kickoff, big laughs, good food, zero stress!

Be a part of our next Fellowship event THIS Sunday, June 7th- a day built for sunshine, shared dishes, and the kind of joyful chaos only a 30-foot Slip ’n Slide can deliver!

Following worship, we’ll gather in the Education Building for a covered dish lunch. Bring your favorite summer dish to share- the Fellowship Team will take care of beverages. Lunch seating will be available inside or outside under the shade tents.

And then... the fun begins! We’re rolling out a 30-foot Slip ’n Slide as our official summer kickoff for the kids. They’ll bring their bathing suits, show off their best sliding tricks, and turn the lawn into a splash zone of pure joy.

Parents, grandparents, neighbors- bring your lawn chairs and settle into the “gallery” for prime viewing. Think of it as the most entertaining Sunday afternoon you’ll have all month. Good food, good fun- Slip ’n Slide Sunday Lunch!

Been wondering where things are with Newell Station? This Sunday we'll hear from DreamKey Partners and Fred will field some Q/A! It is sure to be a FULL day with worship, Communion, some housing talk, lunch, and field day/water games, so be sure to come in-person if you can! (Of course, worship, Communion, and DKP updates/QA will be live streamed, but it's hard to do a slip and slide over the computer 😜)

3 generations of NPC women did some weeding/cleaning in Ms. Carolyn’s garden this morning. If you listened closely, you could hear her offering some gentle guidance, to which these 4.5 replied dutifully, “yes ma’am!”

Here at Newell, intergenerational ministry is the only kind we know! Not everyone who shows up these days had the privilege of knowing Carolyn Read, but this place, and these people, still bloom with her joy!
