Interim Senior Minister, Rev. Micah Blanks and Bryce Staton survived the 15 Mile Charleston Distance Run on Saturday. On Sunday, Jackie Tichnell and Rev. Micah received the Right Hand of Fellowship, from one of our Deacons, Bill Barr, and Rev. Micah served Communion. The entire weekend was a blessing for all!

I can’t express how wonderful it is to have such a great Baptist Temple’s Crossroads Men Crew. We enjoy spending time with the men fixing them a meal and sharing stories. We are so blessed that so many of them attend BT. Thank you ladies for preparing Shepherd’s pie and sides. Thank you, Steve Knighton for your Chapel service. And, that small choir! Cutting a record soon. LOL Everyone is invited to join us at anytime. Thank you, Chris, Clifford and Jackie for letting us be part of your ministry last night. Blessings to all!

Charleston Baptist Temple has a team in the Distance Run next Saturday 9/5/26. You could use the QR code to join us or cheer us on by attending the race. Shout out to Bryce Staton for joining Pastor Micah in this run.

We are sorry to let you know that the "Night Light Cafe" scheduled for September 4th at 7:00pm, has been canceled due to Baptist Temple's Fellowship Hall flooding.

The Night Light Cafe crew hopes that all the cleanup will be completed by the Friday, November 6th at 7:00pm for next event.

Charleston Baptist Temple Missions and Discipleship Team had a wonderful visit with Brennon Elzy, Director and Leesha Perry, Coordinator of Step By Step Family Support Center, located at 1401 4th Avenue, Charleston. We want to raise awareness for their services to the Kanawha Valley community. They provide pantry needs, mentoring, family classes, referrals to community resources, child activities, support groups and much more, Please spread the word about their need for support.
