Kanawha United Presbyterian Church Kanawha Church has been serving the Charleston, WV community since 1819. We are conveniently located downtown at 1009 Virginia St.

E, beside HD Media (formerly Charleston Newspapers). The “Little Church That Loves” welcomes you every Sunday at 11am. Our congregation celebrated its 200th anniversary in 2019. Music plays a central role in our passionate worship. Our educational programs are plentiful, diverse and offer opportunity for intentional faith development. We recently committed to risk-taking mission, and periodically provide “hospitality dinners” for the hungry.
