The Prepped and Polished event was a great success. This was a two-day event designed to support job seekers through preparation and confidence building on day one, followed by a job fair on day two—connecting participants directly with employment opportunities.

The event provides a valuable space for individuals to strengthen interviewing skills, refine resumes, and walk into the job fair prepared and polished for success.

It was great to see some of our RCCR tenants attend this great event with their caseworkers embracing all kinds of social services.

Here are some pictures of WVSU Care Day, which was on April 17th, and we had volunteers come and help beautify our landscape at Smith Street Station Apartments and help in Judy's Garden with planting fruits and vegetables.

This is the 3rd year in a row that they participated at Smith Street.

It's that time of year again! We’re excited to invite you to the Learn the Steps to Homeownership workshop on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Charleston Kanawha Housing Authority. RCCR will be providing food, kids’ activities, and gift card raffles.

We’ve made the difficult decision to postpone this weekend’s Holiday House cookie event. We will instead host an Open House at 1008 Grant Street in early January, and we’re excited to welcome the community once everything is ready. We’ll share the confirmed date soon.
