🌈 What a wonderful Pride weekend! 🌈

St. John's Episcopal Church had an amazing time marching in the Rainbow Pride of WV Parade and meeting so many wonderful people at our festival booth. Thank you to everyone who marched with us, stopped by to say hello, shared their stories, and learned more about St. John's and SAGA. Your joy, energy, and support made the day so special!

At St. John's, all are welcome because all belong. We are a reconciling, affirming, and inclusive Christian community that celebrates God's love for everyone and the beautiful diversity of creation.

Join us for our Pride Service with Holy Eucharist on Wednesday, June 24, at 6:00 PM. We are honored to welcome the Rev. Katie Beth Miksa of The Memorial Church of the Good Shepherd in Parkersburg as our Pride Eucharist preacher, with Bishop Matthew Cowden presiding.

We hope you'll worship with us as we continue celebrating faith, love, and belonging.

What does it mean to pray for someone? Earlier this year, we introduced a new Intercessory Prayer ministry at St. John’s, offering parishioners an opportunity to share prayer requests and receive personal, unscripted prayers during Sunday worship. Learn how this ministry began and how you can take part.

You are welcome to join in Intercessory Prayer in the Chapel immediately after you have had your Communion. Here, you may ask for specific prayers by sharing the name of a loved one in need or for a general cause.
