Thank you for making our community better, Colleen Zerebny!

Our next board member spotlight is Colleen Zerebny!

Colleen Zerebny joined the board in July, as a weekly volunteer for Care Receivers and a member of the Fund Development Committee. She grew up in Sycamore and is an alumni of North Central College in Naperville (Her mother Sandy Stark is Normal High School Class of '71 in case you know her!). Colleen has been a resident of Bloomington since 2013 and a full-time Realtor with REMAX Rising since 2018. Colleen is a member of St Luke Union Church, as a bell choir player and liturgist. Her corgi Izzy and husband Thomas are her greatest joy (in that order!). The Zerebnys live between Founders and Dimmitt's Grove (starting a neighborhood association for this area!) and can often be found traveling to US beaches, fishing at Miller Park and northern Wisconsin, or canoeing at local lakes. Colleen also loves watching new movies and TV, reading nonfiction & memoirs, and working on home projects and rental properties when she's not helping clients buy or sell their homes.

Reverend Olson will also be preaching tomorrow. She is an Ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and a certified spiritual director who runs her own ministry "Abiding Journey."

Join us for Spiritual Challenge #7:
Consider the names of God. YHWH (Yahweh), Elohim (Creator God) Lord, Adonai (Lord and Master), El Shaddai (God Almighty, All Sufficient), El Olam (Everlasting God) El Roi (God Who Sees) Immanuel (God with us), El Emeth (God of Truth), Alpha & Omega (Beginning & the End), Messiah-Christ (Annointed One), Redeemer, The Rock, the Advocate Holy Spirit, The Comforter, etc.

Try praying to God using a name for God you don't always use. Sometimes this can deepen our faith by bringing forth an aspect of God we haven't counted on before.
