Upcoming Events: November 2025- Moses Montefiore Temple
*Ted Merwin, PHD, Senior Writer and Historian, Jewish Federations of North American (JFNA) Author of two books on American Jewish History. Contributor to the New York Times, Washington Post, Newsweek and more!

November 8, 5:30pm: "Where Harry met Sally: An overstuffed History of the Jewish Deli"- A taste of the Jewish deli meal will be offered; a mini corned beed sandwich on rye bread, coleslaw, dill pickle, and special Jewish desserts. Falafel & pita will be available as a vegetarian option.

November 9, 10:00am: "Corned Beef, Commotion, and Camaraderie: The Chicago Jewish Deli"- All our usual brunch food including lox, bagels, cream cheese and kugels will be provided for this meal.

The High Holidays are here!!!!

We highly recommend joining us on September 28, 7pm for a concert open to the public with our very own Illinois Symphony Orchestra and MMT High Holiday Choir.
Following this program- we nosh!
And following that is the most beautiful ritual of changing our Torah covers. It’s a peaceful service and something to experience.
