The Lake Union meetings opened with worship music provided by the Emmanuel Missionary Choir from Berrien Springs and a praise team from the Andrews University community.

President Elden Ramirez charged the audience with the mission to “Make Christ and Make Him Known.”

He said: “The world does not simply need more religious people. The world needs people who have truly been with Jesus. People whose kindness reflect Jesus, people whose mercy reflects Jesus, people whose face reflects Christ and people whose humility reflects our savior.

“As we gather for this constituency session, we remember the future of the church is not in organizational strength, budgets, institutional plan. It will depend upon whether we still know Jesus. Because when the church truly knows Christ, the church cannot help, but to make Him know. The church grows most powerful when people encounter, not merely our doctrines, but the living Christ reflected through His people.” [Photos by JeNean Lendor]

Memories from our Agape feast and communion service 🤍

Our church recently held a special vespers that included foot washing, dinner together, a short message from the Word, and communion. It was a beautiful reminder of what Christ has done for us.

“and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.””
