📣Sabbath Offering Announcement!
This International Pathfinder Camporee’s Sabbath offering will go towards Child Impact's dormitory project at the SDA School for Speech and Hearing Impaired, home to the Silent Warriors Pathfinders Club.
We're challenging every pathfinder to bring 20 dollars to contribute to the offering!
Child Impact International is a Seventh-day Adventist nonprofit organization that serves vulnerable children around the world. Their mission is to empower vulnerable children through education and fight to eradicate exploitation.
One of Child Impact’s partner schools is the Seventh-day Adventist School for Speech and Hearing Impaired in Kollegal, India. It was the first Adventist school established for hearing-impaired students. All of the students and staff are involved in Pathfinders. Their club, which was started over a decade ago, is called the Silent Warriors. They are involved in many activities. Every Sabbath, they pack 20-30 lunches and distribute them to the homeless in the area. The Silent Warriors love serving their community.
The school currently has one building which includes girls housing, classrooms, and boys housing. To comply with new regulations, they’ve started construction on a new dormitory, and their plan is to convert part of the current building into more classrooms. The new dormitory will have a capacity for 100 students and with the new classrooms, the school and the Silent Warriors Pathfinder club will be able to expand and thrive in the future.
Your contribution will fund the completion of the SDA School for Speech and Hearing Impaired dorm and the construction of other safe houses and dormitories across the globe.
