Today is Friday, ending a hectic week after midterms and everyone's excitement for spring break right around the corner. Today's chapel was special for all students who attended, the seniors not only received their class banner that was late but Sanchez also said her goodbyes for her maternity leave. Sanchez has touched many lives in our school and helps out with so many things by giving her time, dedication, and support. But now it's time to give back by supporting her as she leaves during spring break to await her early delivery in Ann Arbor MI. The faculty and school staff presented her with a gift for the new baby. We will all miss Sanchez very much and hope she will make graduation. Our best prayers and wishes go with her.

Week of Prayer

The week is almost to an end as our fourth exciting day of week of prayer. Today's topic was Depression as our speaker Jordanne Howell-Walton gave her personal testimony on her own journey through family trials and depression. Two special musics were given by Charela Evans, Franky Monteno, Taylor Troop, and Dee Weithers. The song leaders livened it up with their purple color theme for the day. After chapel there was discussion about the topic at hand and was carried on throughout the next class period. Students shared stories and experiences about themselves and how to deal with or help others going through hard times. It was a blessing and something that students and the teachers who stayed will cherish. Everyone who participated did an awesome job today. This week has been a can't miss and will be taken with the hearts of the students through the course of the rest of the school year and hopefully their lives as well.
