Congratulations to our very own Pastor! Pastor Anthony Bonds for being selected for the Humanitarian Award! Come join us as we celebrate all the honorees!

! We are pleased to spotlight VCIC's award recipients leading up to the May 21, 2026 Lynchburg Humanitarian Awards Dinner.

Anthony Bonds has built a distinguished career with Smyth Companies for over 55 years, beginning in 1971 on the printing presses and advancing into leadership roles including Pressroom Supervisor, Quality Manager, Color Manager, and Innovations and Research and Development Manager, where he oversaw testing, innovation, and quality improvements in Virginia and Minnesota. Anthony has also served as a pastor for more than 25 years. He became Pastor of Haven Of Rest in Bedford in 2001 and has also led New Design United Pentecostal Church in Rocky Mount since 2012. His service is deeply hands-on, frequently assisting youth and seniors with transportation, home repairs, mechanical support, and counseling. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Anthony’s life reflects an enduring commitment to faith, family, leadership, and community service.
