Mission Link International

Mission Link International Mission Link International (MLI) exists to see people come to Christ and to grow in Him. Equip pastors by establishing Bible training school.

Mission Link International is a global Christ-centered ministry linking American churches/believers with missions/ministries in the Eastern African countries of Uganda and Kenya. MLI serves as a link between the US church and indigenous missionaries/mission projects. MLI’s desire is to equip and support nationals as they reach their native countries for Christ. Though MLI operates in many places a

round the world, our primary focus is East Africa. We have three main objectives in the field:

Connect with indigenous pastors, missionaries, and ministries to encourage and strengthen their work. MLI’s main Christian Study Center is located in Jinja, Uganda. We have one satellite school located in Tanzania and another will soon open in Eldoret, Kenya. These satellite schools are opening the door for many more pastors and church planters to receive training so they can more effectively reach their villages and communities for Christ. Care for the vulnerable and marginalized. MLI has established a vibrant and growing widows’ ministry which is helping hundreds of women who are struggling to survive. Assisting the widows also gives aid to their many children, as well as orphans who have been left in their care. Our widows’ ministry consists of both a sponsorship program and a business piece, whereby the widows learn skills to earn a living. Current projects include raising poultry and a piggery. Our objectives in engaging the US church in the mission are these:

-Send US mission teams to assist indigenous missionaries through medical missions, pastor training at MLI schools, crusades, VBS, feeding programs, empowering widows, etc. MLI’s desire is for our short-term missionaries to experience exponential growth in their faith and in discipleship through their journey.

-Provide Bibles, Christian tracts, Christian teaching aids & supplies, etc. so that nationals have materials with which they can share Christ.

-Work through indigenous missions/ministries to provide assistance to people faced with adversity caused by floods, earthquakes, droughts, famine, disease, poverty, sickness, prejudice, persecution or other factors.

-Link US believers/churches who want to assist nationals in building churches, clinics, schools, etc. We are registered as a non-profit 501(c)3 charitable organization and all donations are tax-deductible. Donations can be mailed to:

Praise the LORD for the Masloff Medical Center project is almost complete in its Phase 1 and should be operational in receiving patients in a few months. I am planning to revisit later in 2026 but we shall have a “Grand-Opening” during our February 2027 Medical Mission Trip.
Thank you to all who gave in support of this worthy project to not only treat the physical body, but the spiritual well-being of all will pass through this facility.
If you wish to continue supporting the future operations and Phase 2 (which will double the size and help purchase diagnostic machinery), visit https://bit.ly/MasloffMedicalCenter

Praise the Lord Jesus for our 17 graduates from three of our Mission Link Christian Study Center Classes as we celebrated with over 250 in attendance from their churches, friends, and family here in Uganda.

Thanks to our supporters who enable us to “GO” and make disciples of Christ to become laborers for His kingdom.

“But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.””
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭9‬:‭36‬-‭38‬ ‭NKJV

Staying focused on the Great Commission is more than just a slogan at Mission Link International. Our goal is to educate all who are hungry for the word of God through 1 year intensive bible classes. Two of our directors, (Todd & Jackie), are flying back to Uganda soon to conduct graduation ceremonies for 50 students who have completed our Biblical Training courses.

We are looking for people or churches who would like to partner with us in being obedient to the Great Commission, which helps in multiplying believers, leaders, and churches.

To sponsor a 1-year class (~12 students) is costs $100/month, or $1,200/year. These funds provide transportation of our teachers to send them to remote villages where the pastors have no chance at obtaining a biblical education, Food for our staff and students to have lunch during their days together, and basic supplies. On average, we conduct 5 of these classes in separate locations each year. Approximately 50-60 pastors or church leaders are being trained annually. Praise God.

His death proved He was fully man.
His resurrection proved He is fully God.
Thank You JESUS!

So, now how should we live?

“For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works.”
‭‭Titus‬ ‭2‬:‭11‬-‭14‬ ‭NKJV

What was accomplished through the Cross of JESUS?

"So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit." John 19:30 (NKJV)

“IT IS FINISHED.”
At the cross, Jesus didn’t just utter a statement, He declared a victory. Tetelestai—a word that means “paid in full.” In that moment, every prophecy was fulfilled, every sin accounted for, and every soul given the hope of redemption.

The cross wasn’t the end, it was the beginning of restoration, freedom, and eternal life. What we could never do in our own strength, Jesus did in full.

Let this truth settle deep in your soul: you are loved, forgiven, and free—not because of what you’ve done, but because of what He finished.

"For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age, looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from every lawless deed and purify for Himself His own special people, zealous for good works." Titus 2:11-14

For over 50 years, Dr. James Masloff dedicated his life to serving others. Driven by his deep faith in Christ the Lord, Jim believed every person should be cared for and shown grace, so his service was both physical and spiritual. On February 6th, 2026, Dr. Masloff left this world and entered his heavenly home with Jesus. His impact reached even to Uganda, where he mentored and inspired Dr. Moses Batwala of the Jinja District to continue leading our medical mission efforts in traveling to remote villages to treat the most vulnerable who cannot afford to seek medical attention.

Today, I am asking for your help to turn that inspiration into a lasting reality.

We are launching a campaign to erect the Dr. James Masloff Medical Center in Jinja, Uganda. The average daily wage in Uganda is about $3.00. Many families simply cannot afford to visit a Government run medical clinic. Preventable diseases go untreated, and maternal mortality remains high due to a lack of immediate, local care. During the many mission trips to Uganda, Dr. Masloff shared his heart often of wanting to do more for the people of Uganda that he came to love. By erecting this clinic, we are not just honoring his memory; we are fulfilling his mission. Dr. Jim stated, “his time as medical director of MLI has been the most rewarding period of his life.”

**Our Goal: $12,000 by October 1st, 2026, to complete construction, procure essential medical equipment, and provide initial funding for local staff.

How You Can Help
Your contribution will directly impact thousands of people who currently lack access to basic care:
• $100 helps purchase essential diagnostic tools (thermometers, blood pressure monitors).
• $500 funds the construction of one examination room and/or basic equipment (exam table).
• $1,000+ helps sponsor the solar power installation, ensuring the clinic has consistent electricity and to power the water well Dr. Masloff contributed for the school’s compound where the clinic will be located.

You can make a tax-deductible donation online at: bit.ly/MasloffMedicalCenter

Or send a check payable to Mission Link with “Masloff Medical Center" in the memo line to: P.O. Box 1115, Bedford, VA 24523.

Thank you for your generosity, your compassion, and your support in preserving his legacy.
With gratitude,

Todd Childers, CEO
