This is a great event happening next Tuesday, completely free, in Appomattox. You can sign up through the link in the post and bring your both people in leadership and lay people.

Next Tuesday, the Small Town Rural Church Workshop takes place n Appomattox! join us on August 25 with a tailgate lunch provided by Noble Warriors.

Pastors, church leaders, and ministry wives are invited to learn best practices and receive enrichment and encouragement. There will also be a special fellowship and breakout specifically for ministry wives.

Reposting HB Charles Jr. Who was speaking at Eastlake tonight....
URGENT PRAYER REQUEST: I am in Moneta (near Roanoke), Virginia, to preach the 20th church anniversary of Troy Keaton and the Eastlake Community Church. The service was in a tent on campus, with close to 1,000 attendees. Ten minutes into the service, a sudden, severe weather event pulled the support poles out of the ground and blew the tent off. One of the elders of the church went to be with Jesus, and several others were seriously injured. Please pray for Pastor Troy, Eastlake Church, and this community - that the hope of our risen Savior would be theirs in abundance during this crisis.

Please keep them in prayer!

What a joy yesterday was! Last night 11 of our local congregations gathered together as one church. We enjoyed a delicious meal, sung praises together, stewarded God’s resources through business, heard how our churches are advancing the Gospel around the world through missions, and opened God’s Word, and was reminded from 1 Corinthians 3:5-9 that we are called by the same Lord for the same mission: making disciples of all nations! God gives the growth, and God receives the glory!

Thank you to everyone that participated and for your continual support of the SBA. May we continue to strive together as the church in Bedford, to proclaim the glory of Jesus throughout Bedford and beyond!

Would you take a moment this weekend and pray for your church, your pastor(s), leaders and volunteers, along with other fellow churches, their pastor(s), leaders, and volunteers. Then encourage them by letting them know you took time to pray for them.
