MANY PARTS, ONE BODY

Sunday, June 14, 2026 - 10:00 a.m.
~ON SITE & ONLINE~

Two thousand years ago, the Jewish-Christian leader Paul famously pointed out that communities need all kinds of people to flourish, just like a human body needs all kinds of parts. Today we’ll draw on the Unitarian Universalist Association’s Common Read by Deepa Iyer, as well as the Enneagram, a contemporary system of understanding and appreciating the differences in human personality, to explore how human flourishing and justice-building in community really does take all kinds.

THE QUESTIONS THAT CHANGE US
Sunday, May 31, 2026 ~ 10am

~ON SITE & ONLINE~

Not all questions are created equal. Some keep us stuck, while others open doors we didn’t know existed. Today we examine how a shift in curiosity can lead to deeper empathy, wider perspective, and a more meaningful life.

CONVERSING WITH THE SOUL:
A JOURNEY IN THE EXPERIENCE OF NOT KNOWING

Sunday, May 24, 2026 - 10:00 a.m.
~ON SITE & ONLINE~

Aristotle is credited with saying that “all humanity by nature desires to know”. We know two plus two equals four; the earth orbits the sun, the moon orbits the earth. But how does this nature, this curiosity, this "not knowing" guide us in our relationship with our soul; the voice inside whose wisdom grows as we navigate the perplexities of our life?

THE BRIDGE CALLED CURIOSITY

Sunday, May 17, 2026 - 10am
~ON SITE & ONLINE~

Relationship experts tell us: when you’re in an argument with someone you love, get curious about the other person’s experience. Today, we’ll explore curiosity as a bridge to compassion, hope, and wisdom – not just in our personal relationships, but as a tool to help heal our country.

CHRONOS AND KAIROS: A MEDITATION ON SACRED TIME

Sunday, May 10, 2026 - 10:00 a.m.
~ON SITE & ONLINE~

This service invites us to reflect on how we might cultivate awareness of the flows of ordinary time and sacred time, so that when we experience sacred moments in time we may be more open to the human experiences of transcending mystery and wonder that they bring.

AWAKENING CURIOSITY – OPENING TO THE POWER & MYSTERY OF THE TRANSCENDENT IN OUR LIVES

Sunday, May 3, 2026 10am
~ON SITE & ONLINE~

“Tell me about the God you don’t believe in, “ wrote Jesus Seminar scholar, Marcus Borg. “I probably don’t believe in that God either.” But is there an entirely different way to approach and experience the transcendent in our lives? Is “the transcendent” even real? How would we know? Let’s explore a very non-traditional understanding of the “creating, sustaining and transforming power” of life (as UU theologian, James Luther Adams called it) and consider how we can invite it into our lives!
