We have been a spark of light in the lives of many fire families so far! These families were adopted by colleagues, families, friends, neighborhoods and companies. But, the dust has not settled yet! We still have more families who are in need of your help. Would you like to be this spark of light in these dark days? Maybe your family, your friends or colleagues can get together and help? We are a local group of people within your community with big hearts and a caring agenda. There are already so many charities, churches and agencies covering the basics, so we are focused on the special things that will help you feel normal again.
The goal of this program is to help people get items for themselves or their children that makes life begin to feel normal. Families who have lost everything start from scratch. This can be clothing, work boots, tools, animal supplies, plates, pots and pans, anything. These are items within the generosity of the people who may adopt your family and provide these little extras that you may not even realize are “comfortable” and “normal” in your life.
Our intention is not to rebuild your life, just to make it a bit more normal while you sort the rest out.
What is being offered?
We offer for families to create a “wish list” on Amazon or any other registry. This wish list will be shared with families who would like to adopt. Since people who lost it all have a huge wish list, it is important that we can share it with many other adoptive families.
What is not being offered?
Cash, gas, shelter, food, alcohol.
Is it confidential?
Yes – all your personal info will be private. Only the basic family details such as how many of you there are and what you need will be revealed to the adopters.

We are off to a great start! Please keep spreading the word. We currently have more adoptive families than families to adopt. Do not hesitate to contact us please! A big help would be to create an Amazon wish list that we can share!

Thank you for liking our page, and please let us know if you would like to adopt a family, or if you know of a family who would like to be adopted. Also, please share this page with as many friends as you can! We currently have quite some families who would like to adopt, but not many families to adopt, while we know they are out there, we understand these families are busy trying to get their lives back together. So, if you know of anyone, you can email us too and we will reach out! Let us forward our gratefulness, because this could be us. Love to all of you!

For the adults maybe it’s a specific piece of clothing, or a specific brand of shampoo, or a blow dryer. For the children maybe it’s a replacement doll, or some art supplies or a puzzle or a boogie board. These are items within the generosity of the people who may adopt your family and provide these little extras that you may not even realize are “comfortable” and “normal” in your life.

Our intention is not to rebuild your life, just to make it a bit more normal while you sort the rest out.

What is being offered?
Item(s) per family member, up to $50 total per person, that helps bring “normal” back into your daily life.

What is not being offered?
Cash, gas, shelter, food, alcohol.

Is it confidential?
