We're a Christian fellowship at UC Santa Cruz. However, we are more than just that. What does “klesis” mean? Why are we here? What is my purpose?

Klesis is Greek for “divine invitation.” Whether you're a Christian who wants to grow or just curious about Christianity, we invite you to join us! Simply put, Klesis is a Christian fellowship group on the UC Santa Cruz campus that gathers each week on Sunday at 6pm to learn about God. We are also all about doing life together and creating a warm and friendly community for anyone and everyone. Whe

n translated from Greek, “klesis” means an invitation, and that is exactly what our student ministry group is offering you – an invitation to join us as we go through our college chapter of life. Not only do we want to invite you to have fun with us, but also to discuss life’s big questions- What is the purpose of life? This invitation is for everyone – if you are looking for genuine friendships, advice from upperclassmen, lively discussions about God and life, memorable trips, amazing food… or even just people to journey through life with, we invite you to contact us and check us out!
