Are you facing a relationship battle? A health battle? A difficult situation that seems impossible?

Stay focused on the good times, the good memories, and most importantly, the good Word of God. Don't allow today's challenge to erase yesterday's victories. Keep pushing forward.

In fact, make the devil mad. Pull out those old pictures and put them on your refrigerator, your mirror, your desk, and your doors. Pull out those health reports from when things were going well. Pull out the pictures of family gatherings, restored relationships, happy moments, and victories God has already given you.

Let them serve as reminders that God did it before and He can do it again.

Every time you see them, remind yourself of God's faithfulness.

Every time you see them, remind yourself that God's promises have not changed.

And every time you see them, remind Satan that he is a defeated foe. He will never have the final victory over your life, your family, your health, your mind, your marriage, your children, or your future.

When David stood before Goliath, he was just a young shepherd boy facing a giant warrior. Humanly speaking, David had no chance. Yet God gave him a miraculous victory.

After defeating Goliath, David took Goliath's own sword and kept it. Years later, when David was fleeing from Saul and found himself in another difficult season, the priest brought out that same sword and said:

"The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom thou slewest in the valley of Elah... is here."
1 Samuel 21:9

David did not keep the sword because he loved the battle.

He did not keep the sword because he worshipped the past.

He kept the sword because it was a testimony.

Every time David saw that sword, it reminded him:

God delivered me.
God was faithful.
God made a way when there seemed to be no way.
God defeated a giant I could never defeat on my own.

The giant was gone, but the testimony remained.

The battle was over, but the reminder stayed.

The sword was proof that God had already done the impossible.

We all need reminders like that.

Instead of focusing only on the problem, pull out the old pictures. Pull out the great memories. Pull out the good reports. Pull out the reminders of when God brought you through before.

If your health is under attack, remember the days when you were strong and healthy. Pull out those pictures. Pull out those reports. Let them remind you that God has been faithful through every season.

If a relationship is broken, remember the laughter, the love, the family gatherings, and the good times that once existed. Pull out the pictures. Remember the moments of joy. Remember that God is still able to restore, heal, and redeem.

Don't throw away your sword of victory.

Don't throw away the pictures.

Don't throw away the testimonies.

Don't throw away the reminders of God's faithfulness.

Sometimes the very thing that reminds you of yesterday's victory becomes the source of faith for today's battle.

Keep your eyes on God's promises.

Keep speaking His Word.

Keep reminding yourself of what God has already done.

And keep moving forward.

Don't let today's battle make you forget yesterday's victory.

Pull out your sword, remember what God has done, and keep moving forward.

I declare in Jesus Name you will see your Victory! If you agree say 'AMEN'

If everything disappeared tomorrow, would Christ still be enough for you to know exactly who you are?

This question reveals whether our identity is anchored in Christ or in something temporary.

If everything was stripped away, your title, possessions, your health, ministry, career, reputation, relationships, accomplishments, your home, your car, bank account, and accolades, would you still know who you are in God?

Who would you be without your career?

Who would you be without your bank account?

Who would you be without your accomplishments and the praise from others?

The world teaches us to find our identity in what we do, what we own, and what others think of us. God teaches us to find our identity in whose we are.

Psalm 100:3 says:

"Know ye that the Lord he is God, it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture."

Our identity is not found in what we have achieved, accumulated, or accomplished. Our identity is found in the One who created us.

Jeremiah 9:23-24 reminds us:

"Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord..."

God is saying, "Don't find your identity in your wisdom. Don't find it in your strength. Don't find it in your wealth. Find it in knowing Me."

When everything temporary is stripped away, what remains is where your identity truly rests.

If Christ is all you have, would He be enough?

Because that is who you truly are!

Do your words sound like God's words, 'victorious' or do your words reinforce your problems?

Psalm 33:9 says:
"For He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast."

When God spoke, He didn't stutter!

God spoke, and creation responded. God spoke light into darkness. The moment God spoke, it happened. There was no delay, no uncertainty, and no possibility of failure.

When God speaks, things change.

Today, I encourage you to carry that same confidence in the power of God through the Holy Spirit and in the name of Jesus Christ. Decree your freedom. Declare your healing and wholeness. Proclaim God's promises over your life.

Command those things that have carried pain, bo***ge, fear, and generational curses for years to be broken and severed in Jesus' name.

God's plans cannot be stopped unless we stop believing and agreeing with what He has spoken. His purposes will be fulfilled when we stand in faith and confidently declare His Word.

The moment God spoke, it happened. There was no delay, no uncertainty, and no possibility of failure.

Jesus demonstrated this same authority. He commanded healing, and people were healed. He commanded demons to leave, and they obeyed. One of the keys was the 'SPOKEN WORD' because it was spoken with authority, confidence, faith, and without doubt.

The enemy wants to steal your joy because a discouraged believer becomes silent and ineffective. When your joy is gone, your confidence weakens. But when you stand on God's Word, your faith rises, and your voice carries authority.

Get on top of the situation instead of letting the situation get on top of you. Speak God's Word with confidence. Speak it with authority. Speak it without fear. Speak it without doubt. Declare what God has said as truth and stand on it until you see the victory.

When God spoke, creation responded. When you speak God's Word in faith, heaven responds.

The spoken word is key. You must speak the promises of God over your health, over your peace, over your joy, over your home, over your children, over your marriage, over your career, over your finances, over your emotional and mental health, and over every pain, wound, and disappointment from your past. Whatever it is, God has given you authority through Jesus Christ. So what are you going to do with your words? Will you speak doubt and worry or faith? Defeat or victory? Choose today to speak life, speak truth, speak freedom, and speak the Word of God. For when God speaks, things change and when you boldly agree with what God has spoken and you declare it as so Heavens must and will respond to you!

Amen 🙏🏽

Are you tired of the devil being aggressive with you, your family, your health, your peace?

Well, it's time to armor up and become even more aggressive against the kingdom of darkness.

It's time for WAR!

The enemy is not backing down, and neither should we. This is not the time to be passive, silent, or asleep. It is time to put on the full armor of God, stand our ground, resist the devil, tear down strongholds, take every thought captive, and walk in the authority Jesus Christ has given us. The battle belongs to the Lord, but He has called us to stand, fight the good fight of faith, and enforce the victory already won through the blood of Jesus Christ. It's time to armor up. It's time to stand up. It's time for WAR in the Spirit—and victory belongs to Jesus!

"Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil." — Ephesians 6:11

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: whom resist steadfast in the faith." — 1 Peter 5:8-9

"Behold, I give unto you power... over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." — Luke 10:19

"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds." — 2 Corinthians 10:4

"And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly." — Romans 16:20

Does the God in me intimate the devil in you ?

Saints, have you ever walked into a room and someone just looked at you a certain way? Have you ever felt like your very presence made someone uncomfortable? Don’t be surprised. As long as you walk with God, you will intimidate the enemy and even those not walking in the Spirit.

It’s not because of who YOU are it’s because of the power, authority, and presence of God that rests upon you.

Throughout the Bible, we saw this happen over and over again. Pharaoh was intimidated by the authority of God on Moses. Jezebel was threatened by Elijah. Goliath mocked David at first, until he realized David came in the authority of the Lord. Even demons trembled before Jesus.

Light has always made darkness uncomfortable.

When someone truly walks with God:
darkness becomes uncomfortable,
conviction increases,
opposition may rise,
and people operating in fear, pride, deception, or rebellion can become intimidated.

Not because God’s people are trying to dominate others, but because light exposes darkness.

There is a difference between godly authority and fleshly intimidation. Godly authority carries peace, truth, boldness, and conviction not manipulation or control.

Do not shrink back. Do not lower your walk to make others comfortable. Stay humble, stay loving, but continue walking boldly with God.

“I am He.” John 18:6
The power and presence of God on Jesus exposed darkness and made evil uncomfortable.

“The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion.” Proverbs 28:1

“Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.” 1 John 4:4

If the mighty power of Jesus resides in you, Say Amen!

We often hear the phrase, “kill them with kindness,” and in many ways, God also kills us with kindness. What I mean by “killing us” is that He is killing our flesh until we submit, until we surrender.

See, God loves us so much that He gives us undeserved kindness. He loves us even when we shouldn’t be loved. He blesses us and gives us His unmerited favor even when we don’t deserve it. Every morning we wake up, that's his goodness and that's his love! He loves us back to Himself.

And every time He loves us, even when we are not walking according to His will, but there is still a yearning in our hearts for God, our flesh begins to die.

How can we not love back the One who loves us so much?

Happy Saturday. Love God as He has loved you.

“And do you despise the riches of His goodness, forbearance, and longsuffering, not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?” — Romans 2:4. Are you ready to start loving God back?

Welcome May!

I declare you are a Magnolia ~ A delicate beauty in the blossom, yet extremely tough as a tree, able to survive, endure, and still bloom even after the coldest seasons.

Just like the word of God!

"I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten…” — Joel 2:25

"He has made everything beautiful in its time…” —
Ecclesiastes 3:11

Even after loss!
Even after harsh seasons!
Even after what tried to break you!

You will bloom again.

We would like to take this opportunity to share another powerful testimony of the work of God through Damascus Road Ministries - The People's Ministry!

The Bible teaches us that surrender is crucial. To truly follow Christ is to lay down our lives for others and surrender to the call of God. As a ministry, we remain committed to being ready at all times to answer that call no matter the circumstance.

Recently, we received an urgent request from one of the shelters we support, 'Carpenter's Shelter' in Alexandria Virginia, which is very dear to our ministry especially because they serve homeless children. The need was immediate, and without hesitation, we responded.

Because of the generosity of our donors, we were able to provide emergency food assistance along with $500 to purchase air mattresses for homeless children, one of the shelter’s most urgent needs.

One of the most impactful moments was the opportunity to connect with residents at the shelter. Hearing them say, with joy, “We love it here,” was a powerful reminder that God is moving in that place and meeting people right where they are.

We always desire to remain ready when God calls. For that reason, if you feel led to support those in need, we invite you to partner with us.

This ministry is, and always will be, about the people of God. We are committed to continuing this work wherever there is a need—no matter the state, city, or place.

Salvation without Surrender is a dangerous thing!

Getting saved but never fully surrendering to the Lord can create confusion, frustration, and spiritual struggle.

When storms come and they will, without surrender, we may begin to blame God or question Him. We may even ask ourselves, "Am I really saved? Is God really real?” And that can be dangerous!

When you don’t surrender, you will be like Jonah. Like in Jonah's life, storms will come, and you will not understand. But God does not want to give you a storm, He just wants surrender.

There is an important truth many people miss: salvation alone is not the full picture of a Holy Spirit life.

Too often, even in churches, people are told that if they get saved, everything will automatically be okay. But that’s not entirely true. There is a missing element, and that element is SURRENDER!

After salvation, we are called to submit to God. Surrender means giving Him everything not just our present, but our past, our pain, our heart, and even the things our flesh loved in this world! It means emptying out the “closet” of our lives. And just like cleaning out a physical closet, it can be painful. Sometimes we have to let go of things that once meant a lot to us, like memories, worldly fun, hurts, and attachments, but we must release them to God.

Surrender is saying, “Here I am, Lord.” When Moses was in the wilderness and didn’t fully understand who he was, God called him. His response was simple: “Here I am” (Exodus 3:4). That response didn’t come with full understanding; it came with willingness.

We also see this in the life of Abraham. God told him to leave his country, his people, and everything familiar to him and go to a land that He would show him (Genesis 12:1). Abraham obeyed without knowing the details. That is what surrender looks like.

When you say, “Here I am,” you are telling God:
“I am willing to do whatever You ask of me. I don’t need all the details first. I trust You enough to say yes before I understand everything.”

Salvation and Surrender work "hand in hand." When we truly surrender, the Holy Spirit begins to work within us. We grow spiritually. We gain understanding. We begin to walk in the calling God has placed on our lives.

Without surrender, salvation can feel incomplete, like something is missing. It’s like yeast and flour when making bread. You can mix flour and water and bake it, and technically, it becomes bread. But without yeast, it’s dense, heavy, and hard. You have the substance, but you’re missing the element that allows it to rise and become what it was meant to be.

It’s like a lock and a key. You can have a strong, perfectly designed lock, but without the key, it doesn’t open anything. One provides security, but the other provides access.

It’s like a flashlight without batteries. The flashlight is fully built and functional in design, but without power, it produces no light. Everything is there but it cannot fulfill its purpose.

In the same way, salvation gives you the foundation, but SURRENDER brings the power, the growth, and the transformation.

Sit back today and ask the Lord honestly, "Have I truly surrendered everything to You? The ugly parts of my life, my past, my pain, my hurt? Am I still holding onto things in this world that I love and enjoy, even though I know they have nothing to do with You?”

If God asked you to do something without giving the details first, would you be like Moses and surrender and say, “Here I am”?

When you step away from the physical mindset and move into a spiritual one, you begin to see differently. Life may still have challenges, but it becomes smoother not because everything is easy, but because you now know how to navigate spiritually.

You begin to mature.
You begin to understand.
You begin to walk with God, not just believe in Him.

Because SURRENDER is like yeast, it takes us to a place where we can rise.

Without Surrender, we cannot rise. Without giving God our full 100%, we cannot grow into what He has called us to be. We cannot reach the places God has prepared for us while still holding onto what He is asking us to release.

I have known many Christians who are saved but encounter many storms beyond challenges because they are still holding on to what they desire and don’t realize that is not surrender.

If the Lord asked you today to go to the other side of the world to speak to people who don’t look like you, would you go?
If He asked you to bless a family with a meal, would you do it?
If you have the means, are you willing? If God asked you to stop going places that are not aligned with Him, would you? If God asked you to wake up at 3am and intercede for others, would you?

Salvation gives you new life.
Surrender teaches you how to live it.

So if you ready to say to the Lord, “Here I am" "I Surrender to You” Write Amen and Share.
