This message is for the world --but even more importantly, it's for you.

Our Story Alexandria Free Methodist Church traces its roots in the city to 1888, part of a global Wesleyan-holiness movement begun in 1860 to champion freedom in worship, abolition, and full participation for women in ministry. Alexandria Free Methodist Church is committed to communicating the message of that great love in ways that people from every age group, every culture and every nationality can understand.

We had an amazing morning with the Tug of War competition with the Alexandria Police and our church folks!
The Police triumphed!!! Our only “win” was when we had TWO of our teams compete against their team! Ha ha.
Thank you to all officers and especially Police Chief McGuire and officer Tony Moore for participating.
Afterwards we had a scrumptious waffle breakfast.

Yes, I am wearing my Clergy Kilt as Tug of War is a Scottish traditional event.

We will have another competition next October, so get your teams organized for the second Saturday of October now!
