Fall Ministry Kick-Off This Sunday (September 6)
Beginning September 6, our Sunday mornings will look a bit different! There is something for everyone to plug in, engage and grow!
We need your support to make this new season of ministry take flight and flourish. Please come and find your place in one of these opportunities! Bring your whole family. Invite your neighbors to walk a faith journey with you.
And most of all, pray that we may together grow in faith and in love for God and for our neighbors!

Intergenerational Worship on August 30!
It is our tradition to hold an Intergenerational Worship on the fifth Sunday of the month, when our children and youth take the lead in the worship service. They did an awesome job today! And many babies and toddlers also added their voices, both speaking and singing! ;) Our church is truly a place for all generations to grow together in faith.

We had our Nursery Open House after the service on August 30, blessing this new space and all the volunteers and the little ones who will come, all held in our prayers!
Our nursery room is the newest (maybe the best) in the town! Check out the Before and After photos. But fair warning: photos do not do it justice. The old room with its dirty carpet and walls, odor, and lack of proper storage has been transformed into a brand-new nursery with new flooring, cabinets, and baby and toddler-friendly furniture and toys. The door sign and wall decorations proclaim that Jesus welcomes our littlest ones! More area rugs, curtains, and childproofing accessories are on the way, and the cabinet tops need some final touches. We are opening our nursery to welcome babies and toddlers this coming Sunday, September 6!

UMM Pancake Breakfast Canceled!
We are sorry to share that this Saturday's UMM Pancake Breakfast has been canceled. We will find another date to gather around the table for warm fellowship, good food, and great company. Stay tuned for updates!

Come join our worship this Sunday, August 30!
It is our tradition to have an Intergenerational Worship on the fifth Sunday, allowing our children to help lead the service and the whole church family to worship together. Our children's choir will also be performing!

What a wonderful Sunday at Del Ray UMC!
During our worship service, we had a special moment with the Blessing of the Backpacks, sending our students into the new school year covered in prayer and surrounded by love from their whole church family.
Then the children headed off for one last day of summer fun with water bombs, water guns, Slip 'N Slide, Moon Bounce, water slide, chalk, bubbles, hula hoops, and more! Special treat with pizza, popsicles and ice cream with toppings, too! Our students were blessed, soaked, and smiling, and so were the adults!
Thank you to everyone who helped set up, volunteered, and joined us for this special day. Sending our prayers for tomorrow, the first day of school!

The nursery project has one more week to go before our Open House on August 30!
