Good afternoon Holston,
As we enter into our fourth year of our Together theme for Annual Conference, we are calling upon all of our creative friends to design our 2024 Serve Together graphic. Beginning today, Thursday, October 5, and running through Friday, October 27, you can submit up to 3 different graphics. The Annual Conference Design Team will vote on the winning graphic in November, and the winner will be announced soon after.

The rules are simple:
• Create a graphic that encompasses the Serve Together Theme
• Submissions should include the following:
o Book Cover
o Email Header
o Website Header
• Please submit the name of any font that used.
• Please submit the hex color code for all your colors.
• Place each graphic, font name(s) and color codes in a pdf for submission (max 25MB).
• Submit pdf through the link below.
• The winning design will be used to promote the 2024 Holston Annual Conference and will be considered property of the Holston Annual Conference. We reserve the right to edit and adapt as we see fit.
• The winning graphic artist will be rewarded a $100.00 Visa Gift Card, and will be highlighted by Holston Communications.

UMNS Update: Southeastern elects Robin Dease as bishop

The Rev. Robin Dease, who was a write-in candidate on the first ballot for bishop in The United Methodist Church’s Southeastern Jurisdictional Conference, was elected Nov. 3 on the 25th ballot at Lake Junaluska, North Carolina. She received 206 votes, the exact number needed.
