Tune in Tuesday evening at 7:00 PM on Praise 96.3 FM for a Laura West & Friends Power Hour you won't want to miss as Sevier County Baptist Association WMU Director Michele Bryan hosts this week's show for an unforgettable conversation about faith, family, the challenges people don't always see—and why a diagnosis never defines the value, purpose or potential of a life.

Joining Michele are Tim Rimel from Valley View Baptist Church, sharing his personal journey of raising his son, Luke, who has cerebral palsy, and Sharon Earl and Renee Sheperd from the Cerebral Palsy Center in Knoxville, sharing the incredible work being done for individuals and families in our community.

Make a meaningful local impact by supporting one of Sevier County’s hidden treasures — Camp Smoky

Many in our community attended Camp Smoky “back in the day” and still carry precious memories, stories, and friendships formed there. Now, we have the opportunity to help breathe new life into this special place.

Together, we are working to revitalize Camp Smoky and restore it as a place where children, youth, and families can grow in faith, build lasting memories, and experience the love of Christ for generations to come.

**How can we pray for you today?**

Not in theory. Not just as a kind phrase. Truly — how can we pray for you?

Our churches are filled with people carrying burdens no one else can see. Some are praying for healing. Some are praying for family. Some are praying for direction, peace, provision, salvation, restoration, or strength just to take the next step.

The Sevier County Baptist Association believes in the power of prayer because we believe in the God who hears.

If you have a prayer request, we invite you to share it in the comments below so others can pray with you.

If your request is private, you are welcome to send us a direct message. You do not have to carry it alone.

Let’s be more than churches that gather.
Let’s be a family of believers who intercede for one another.

This Memorial Day, we pause with grateful hearts to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the words of Jesus:

> “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
> — John 15:13

Today, we remember the heroes who never came home, the families who carry both pride and sorrow, and the freedoms we enjoy because of their courage.

As we gather with loved ones this weekend, may we also take time to pray for our nation, encourage one another, and reflect on God’s faithfulness through every generation.

> “Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.”
> — Matthew 5:9
