🌿 齋僧會的意義 | The Meaning of Sanghika Dana

「齋」意為清淨——潔淨身心，以恭敬心設齋供養僧寶。
僧寶是無上福田，能令施者遠離煩惱、解放心縛、得清淨心，因此齋僧之果報無量無邊，功德不可思議。

近代禪門宗匠 虛雲老和尚 曾開示：
「佛、法二寶，賴僧寶扶持；若無僧寶，佛法二寶無人流布，善根無處培植，因此齋僧功德最大。」

《佛說布施經》亦云：供養三寶可得五種利益：
1️⃣ 身相端莊
2️⃣ 氣力增盛
3️⃣ 壽命延長
4️⃣ 快樂安穩
5️⃣ 成就辯才

以香、花、燈、飲食、衣物與資財供養三寶，
不論財施或法施，
因清淨心而行，
生生世世與三寶結下清淨善緣。

🌍 Sanghika Dana in the Buddha’s Teaching
Sanghika Dana means “offering to the Sangha.”
“Dana” is the practice of generosity — a gift offered from the heart, bringing joy and benefit to both giver and receiver.

In true giving, there is no separation between the one who gives, the one who receives, and the gift itself.
Seeing this inter-being clearly gives rise to deep joy and freedom.

The Buddha taught that generosity is the foundation and seed of spiritual development — a timeless human virtue that reflects our capacity for compassion and self-transcendence.

回向法界一切众生，
福慧增长，道业精进。

May the merits of this Sanghika Dana
support the Sangha,
uplift all beings,
and nurture the path of awakening for many lives to come.

【東眴閣 動土典禮 】
2025年5月25日（農曆四月廿八），東眴閣舉行動土儀典，正式啟動重修擴建本閣殿堂樓閣之工程。動土儀式莊嚴吉祥，眾善信虔誠參與，禮請導師主法，啟建勝會道場。
願三寶洪慈加被，諸天擁護，本閣修建工程，施工一切順利，無有障礙，成就莊嚴道場，續弘正法。

The Groundbreaking Ceremony of Samantabhadra Vihara marks the commencement of our A&A works, held on 25 May 2025.
With reverence and blessings from the Triple Gem, we dedicate this meritorious effort for the flourishing of the Dharma and the benefit of all sentient beings.

ℹ️ The main structure of Samantabhadra Vihara, built in 1938, has stood as a sanctuary for countless practitioners and devotees. However, time has taken its toll, with sagging roof tiles leaks in the Main Hall, kitchen, and monastic rooms. To ensure the Vihara remains a conducive space for spiritual cultivation and the propagation of Dharma, restoration works are planned to begin in mid-2025.
In our shared commitment to uphold the Triple Gem (Buddha, Dharma, Sangha) and provide a safe and serene environment, we humbly appeal for your generous support in contributing towards the building fund.
By uniting our hearts and efforts, we can help Samantabhadra Vihara realise its aspiration of continuing to serve as a sacred space for all.
