Rochore Tua Pek Kong Temple (also known as Goh Chor Tua Pek Kong Temple) was established in 1847 by Hokkien forefathers who were working in plantations along the Balestier Road vicinity. “Rochore” was the name of the area in the mid-1800s.

🙏Rochore Tua Pek Kong will be celebrating the birthday of Heavenly Sage Guan Yu on 6 August (Thursday) and devotees are invited to request for Heavenly Sage Guan Lucky Ang Bao 🧧 and participate in the Taoist rituals at 9am and 1pm.

注生娘娘，又称“授子神”，主要掌管怀孕、生产，是不孕妇女及怀孕妇女所奉祀的神明，为养育之神 👶🏻👧🏻。梧槽大伯公庙将于农历三月二十（5月6日，星期三）早上9点举办法会，庆祝注生娘娘诞辰🙏。

届时将恭请道长主持法会，善信可向注生娘娘祈求1️⃣送子（送男或送女）、2️⃣孩子平安健康以及3️⃣孩子安康成年（16岁或以上）。法会之后还可获赐符印盖于随身衣着物品保平安（善信可携带孩子新衣代盖符印，祈求孩子平安健康🍎🍎、茁壮成长）。

The Goddess of Childbirth is believed to bless couples and families who wish to have children 👶🏻👧🏻 and for blessing children with a happy and healthy childhood. 🍎🍎

Rochore Tua Pek Kong Temple will be celebrating the birthday of Goddess of Childbirth 🙏 on 6 May (Wednesday) with a Blessing Ritual commencing at 9am.

Venerated Taoist priests will lead devotees to pray for 1️⃣child-bearing, 2️⃣safety for children and 3️⃣safe coming-of-age for children (16 years old and above). After the ritual at 9:30am, devotees may seek blessings for themselves and loved ones with the deity seal on their clothing (devotees can bring their children’s new clothes to be blessed).

Rochore Tua Pek Kong Temple will be welcoming the God of Fortune on Chinese New Year Eve. The Taoist ritual to welcome the God of Fortune will start at 11:30pm. Devotees can visit the temple today to register for the Prayer Ritual which includes a God of Fortune candle.

呼吁归还虎爷神像

梧槽大伯公庙于2025年12月6日清晨发现一尊虎爷神像遗失。职员调阅闭路电视（CCTV），画面显示一名可疑老年男子（附截屏图）于2025年12月5日晚上11时48分至6日凌晨零时15分在虎爷坛旁徘徊及逗留。若您认识截屏所显示之人，请您通知本庙或通知当事人到庙归还虎爷神像。

本庙谨此呼吁当事人尽快主动归还完整虎爷神像，则本庙可酌情处理，否则将追究刑事责任以儆效尤。

梧槽大伯公庙始创于1847年，而虎爷属庙内极受善信崇奉之神明。但凡沽售、购买该遗失神像者，除了触法，亦对神明不敬，无论卖方买方都恳请慎思慎行，行正道、积善缘，将神像归还，方属至善。

Appeal for the Return of Tiger God Statue

Rochore Tua Pek Kong Temple (RTPK) wishes to inform the public that a Tiger God (虎爷) statue was found displaced from the temple on the early morning of 6 Dec 2025 (please refer to attached photo).

CCTV footage captured an elderly man loitering around the Tiger God altar from 2348hr, 5 Dec to 0015hr, 6 Dec 2025 (please refer to attached screengrab). If you happen to know the person in the screengrab, please inform us or inform the person to return the statue to the Temple.

We sincerely appeal to the person involved to return the statue immediately and in its original condition, failing which we will resort to legal action and press criminal charges.

RTPK, established in 1847, is a heritage temple and the Tiger God a revered deity belonging to the community. Anyone found to buy or sell the deity statue is not only infringing on the law, it is also being disrespectful to the deity. We urge individuals to do the right thing.
