With the arrival of our Honorary Advisor, MP Shawn Loh, the session officially began with a prayer for good fortune and blessings for our residents. This was followed by a brief sharing on the temple’s history and the meaning behind our annual goodie bag distribution by one of our temple committee members (Dr Lim) , before concluding with a group photo together with members of the temple’s working committee.

随着荣誉顾问议员 MP Shawn Loh 的到来，活动正式拉开序幕。MP Shawn Loh 议员首先参与祈福仪式，为居民送上祝福与好运。随后，现场进行了简短的分享，介绍寺庙的历史背景以及年度goodie bag派发活动的由来，最后与寺庙工作委员会成员一同合影留念。

As we welcome the Lunar New Year, our temple will be distributing complimentary Lunar New Year goodie bags to support our community and share some festive joy.

Residents who wish to receive a goodie bag are kindly invited to come down for registration, so that we may prepare and reserve one for you.
Registration is required for collection on 1 February 2026 (10:00am).

Registration period:
📅 19 January to 30 January 2026
⏰ 11:00am to 5:00pm

Eligibility:
This year’s goodie bags are lovingly prepared exclusively for Whampoa residents born before 1961.
📍 Registration will take place at 15 Kim Keat Lane, Singapore (Temple premises).

Each household is entitled to one goodie bag, while stocks last. NRIC verification will be done during registration to ensure fair distribution.

The Lunar New Year is a time for togetherness, hope, and new beginnings. We hope that this small gesture brings warmth, happiness, and good fortune to you and your loved ones as we usher in the new year together.

凡有意领取福袋的居民，请亲临登记，以便我们为您预留一份。

⏰ 时间： 上午11点至下午5点

👵 领取资格：
禮包仅限 1961年以前出生的黄埔区居民。
📍 登记地点： 新加坡金吉巷15号（本庙）

每户家庭限领一份，数量有限，送完即止。登记时将核对身份证（NRIC），以确保公平分配。
