During this Lenten season, we walk with Christ through the Stations of the Cross.

The Stations of the Cross invite us to enter more deeply into the suffering and love of Jesus.

2026 Holy Week and Easter Worship Schedule.
Commit yourself to walk with Jesus during Holy Week. The services of Holy Week commemorate Jesus’ descent into death before the great miracle of Easter. At the Rite of Election, held at the Church of The Immaculate Heart of Mary and presided by His Emminence, William Cardinal Goh, our catechumens wrote their names into the book of The Elect.

As they embark on this last leg of their journey towards receiving the Sacraments of Initiation at Easter, let us keep our Elect, as well as our Candidates and Confirmands in prayer.

The primary focus of this day is humility. It is a time to recognize our humanity and our need for spiritual connection. During services, a priest or minister marks the foreheads of the faithful with ash in the shape of a cross. This physical symbol serves as a public declaration of faith and an internal reminder of mortality.

The ashes themselves carry deep meaning. They are typically made by burning the palm branches blessed during the previous year’s Palm Sunday services. This creates a direct connection between the glory of Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem and the penitential nature of Lent.

though it was only the 6 of us - for the Jubilee walk but it a memorable walk as our seniors completed the walk without any complains We were very blessed with such awesome weather - sunny with no rains. We started our journey from OLOL and then to St Josephs, Peter And Paul , Sacred Heart and our final stop - Cathedral where we recited the last decade of the rosary and the Jubilee Prayer. All went well.
