Ever feel like your story is already written, or like you’re stuck in a chapter you can’t change? 📖
Yesterday, we looked at six people in the Gospels—from the woman at the well to the thief on the cross—who thought their past defined them. But Jesus stepped in and opened an entirely new chapter.
Whatever new start you need this week—hope, purpose, sight, identity, or restoration—remember that Jesus always makes the first move toward you.

"It sounds crazy. It sounds foolish. But it's the truth..." 💭
In a world full of pain, wars, and heartbreaking loss, how can we know God still loves us?
Look at the cross. It’s the ultimate, undeniable proof that God is madly, deeply, and relentlessly in love with you—despite our failures and despite our dark days.
What area of your life do you need to surrender to His love today?

A cross that has no weight is no cross worth carrying.
It’s easy to let the story of the cross become routine—something we glance at rather than survey deeply. But when we look closely at Luke 23 and Romans 5, we see a love that is heavy, sacrificial, and relentless.
God isn't waiting for you to get your act together before He chooses you. He is deeply, completely, and relentlessly mad about you—right in the middle of your weariness, doubts, and mistakes.

What if the most radical thing you could believe today is not a theological proposition, but a deeply personal truth? Not just that God exists, or that God is good, but that God is madly, extravagantly, unreservedly in love with you. Not with humanity as an abstract concept. With you. Specifically.

"We quietly expect Him to play the role we’ve written for Him."
Ouch. That hits close to home.
When we pray, are we asking God what He wants, or are we just asking Him to sign off on our plans? Following Jesus isn't about fitting Him into our lives—it’s about surrendering our entire lives to Him.
Drop a 🙏 in the comments if you’re choosing to surrender your plans to Him today.

What if real discipleship means letting go of the script you’ve written for God? 💭
In Mark 8, Peter gets the identity of Jesus right—but his mission completely wrong. He wanted a triumphant king who would fit his personal plans.
Sound familiar?
Jesus responds with a call that isn't reserved for "super Christians." It’s the starting line of following Him:
➕ Deny yourself.
➕ Take up your cross.
➕ Lose your life to find it.
What script is God asking you to lay down this week?

Before the walls of Jericho could crumble, they had to stand tall, and Rahab had to protect the spies. Her brave choice to shelter them ensured her family’s safety when the walls finally fell. Remarkably, Rahab is later recognized in the Bible as one of Jesus’ ancestors! How incredible is that?

Winning away from home isn't always easy—but Daniel did it! His experiences were a sneak peek into the life of Jesus. Let's put our faith in him - the one who conquered death!

We all want a smooth path. We pray for easy roads, perfect timing, constant sunshine, and flat ground. But a faith that only works in perfect weather isn't a faith that can go the distance.
